Title: The Truth About Suicide
Someone said suicide is easy
But they didn't count on limbo
Or the seven layers of hell
Atheists are lucky in their belief
Their death would the end
But there is no sure way to tell
Nothingness, like a light going out
A click of the fingers and that's it
The end of the story, the pain
You can never really be sure though
What lies beyond, after death
On the Grim Reaper's smoky plain
God could forgive your weakness
Allow you through the pearly gates
To run through warm fields of sunshine
But you can never really be sure
What lies beyond that horizon
No Earthly enlightenment divine
Is it better to suffer a lifetime on Earth?
Then burn for eternity anyway?
Some would rather cut to the chase
Yes, suicide is easy friends
But eternal damnation is hard
Make the best of this mortal place
