Anger at the world
Hate in your head
Red is the colour at the end of the spectrum of visible light
It's what men see when they are drunk and looking for a fight
Roses are red
A primary colour
The blood of the dead
Scarlet are the lips of the lover you lost and pined a lifetime for
Burgundy is the wine you drink to remind you of her
Red is the colour of sin
Scarlet whore of Babylon
Suicidal pills and gin
Crimson is the colour of the autumn leaves that fall and warn of winter
Red is the colour that fades with age as you withdraw from communion and splinter
