Title: Agenda
What's your agenda?
To have a good time?
To get your own way?
To manipulate the situation to your own end?
Well, it's what we all do, each and every minute of each and every day
Everybody has got an agenda
At every waking moment
Let me explain what I mean;
You get out of bed
You go to work
To pay the bills and keep a roof over your head
That's an agenda
An agenda not to end up on the street
You meet up with friends
You grab a coffee
You catch on on gossip
You go shopping and find a nice outfit
Understand that intending to have a good time is still an agenda
An agenda to have a good time
Choosing to sit down and get fat in front of the TV is an agenda to disengage with the world
It's still a choice, it's still an agenda
So we can never really truly be honest with each other as there is always another wheel turning in the back of every head
The only person you can ever really listen to is yourself
And even then your trustworthiness is questionable
