I say 'A'
You hear 'B'
Then you construct a theory
Which leads you to 'C'
So I try and manage your strange ear
Saying 'X' when I mean 'Y'
Trying to get you to conclude 'Z'
Listening without hearing
We shouldn't have to play these games with each other
Reading between the lines
Second guessing each other
