Title: Sunday
Sunday's Child is bonnie and blithe and good to trot
First day of the week if you're religious
Seventh day of the week if you're not
The speed at which it arrived was vicious
Season of Illusions, obliterate the Sunday you've been cherishing all week
Sunday comes from sunedai meaning the sun day - Sol
But here comes the outlook and its bleak
Life is long and takes its toll
Every Day Is Like Sunday, especially Sunday
With that added sense of unaccomplishment, yes it's a word
And with that dreaded thought of work on Monday
Rejoining 'the dead inside' herd
Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon, it's not all bad, after all
Barbecues or Sunday roasts with loved ones
Cat naps and orders that aren't that tall
Family movies with bad puns
Gloomy Sunday rears its head again
Dream the dream you're resisting
Try not to wake too soon
Because life is lather, rinse and repeat, it's insisting
