Title: SolThe Sun, also known as Sol, our star
Without which there'd be no life
A burning unforgiving ball of fire
If you get too near you'll have strife!4.57 billion years old, a yellow dwarf
One day it will be a red giant, huge
Baking, swallowing the inner worlds
Destroying life on it's cruiseThe new habitable zone is established
From Jupiter outwards life takes hold
Rocky moons become paradises
A new chapter in humanity to be toldNo eventual supernova here
The sun will exhaust all its gasses
And shrink down to a white dwarf
Grinding planets to dust sized massesRare planets would survive this process
To see the star become a black dwarf
Not to be confused with a black hole
Life, death and darkness will morph
