Title: The Victim
Victim mentality, the world is against you
Despite any firm evidence this is the case
You keep on believing your learnt behaviour
Ignoring the truth, shouting in its face
You've been hurt, or you hurt somebody yourself
You didn't feel it was your fault
Seeking sympathy for your drama
It's "poor me, poor me," by default
Victims can become victimisers
As the bullied can become bullies too
Hurting those who try to help them
Frustrating what they thought they knew
Your self pity is addictive
It absolves you of all responsibility
You're avoiding taking the blame
The victim should accept their capability
His fault
Her fault
Their fault
Not me
His fault
Her fault
Their fault
Poor me
Not me, not me, poor me
