I stood hidden under my covers sobbing, it's been like this for hours, days. My hearts Shattered, I feel betrayed, Unloved, unwanted.
The door suddenly opened I uncovered myself to see my best friend Sodapop.
"Hey." He gave me a sad smile
"Who let you in?" I sniffed
"Your mom." He sat besides me
"Look Y/N, I know how it feels." -He sighed- "One day their all lovey dovey, showing and telling you they love you, then the next they go out and find a way to break you."
"I don't know what to do anymore Soda." I sobbed, burying my head against his shoulder as he hugged me tightly.
"It's alright...Everything will turn out good in the end...Hell, he missed a great life with a beautiful woman like you, There's better men than him."
"Like who?" I looked at his deep brown eyes. He suddenly started to blush.
"Y/N...I know this is the wrong time but...I've been liking you for a while now." He looked down at his fingers.
My sadness had gone away and turned into great bashfulness.
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Well, I was wondering maybe this Friday we can, go out on a date? Only if you want to."
"Sure, I'd love to." I smiled
"Well, I'm gonna go." He got up awkwardly walking towards the door.
"Wait!" He turned over
"Can you comfort me?" I gave puppy dog eyes.
"Sure." He smiled, I lied down on the be as he lied down beside me.
"Soda."
"Yeah?"
"Your the best friend I could ever ask for."
"Your the most prettiest girl I ever layed eyes on."
I looked at him, he had seemed tense, I decided to give it a long shot and kiss him in his soft lips.
"I like you too Sodapop Curtis." I smiled
