Woman: Hi Guys How are you doing today?
Ponyboy: Good
Cherry: Good
Woman: How does it feel to be interviewed?
Cherry: It's an interesting experience
Ponyboy: I've done it before but, not in the best of times
Woman: Oh yeah...the incident
Ponyboy: Yeah...
A moment of Awkward silence
Woman: Speaking of what had happened in the past;How are you and you're brother's holding up now that it's officially been two years since the accident?
Ponyboy: It's a sensitive topic to touch but, we're doing alright-I mean once in awhile it hits us hard, especially when passing by specific places like the Dingo. But, other than that it sometimes feel abit normal-But in my opinion I believe things will never be the same without that cheeseburger.
Cherry: W-What?
Ponyboy: Yeah, that cheeseburger
Woman: That was a sad day indeed
Ponyboy: I get nightmares about it almost every night
Cherry: Am I missing something?I thought you guys were talking about what had happened to Dallas, Johnny and Bob.
Woman: Do you mind explaining how you felt in that very moment? When the cheeseburger incident happened?
Ponyboy: Well, Everything just felt slow motion as I watched that Burger slip through my fingers, My heart sunk- I couldn't breath for a moment and then BAM! I lost it.
Woman: And who was the cause of this accident?
Ponyboy: Steve Randall
Cherry: Shouldn't we be talking about important things, like what happened two years ago?
Woman: We are
Cherry: No-the thing that left a mark in Tusla that created a huge change to our lives and society as we know it...The thing that stopped Greasers and Socs from funding with one another...The thing that proved that things were Rough all over?
Ponyboy: Yeah...The cheeseburger incident
Cherry: I'm sorry...Can you please explain this "Incident" for me?
Woman: I thought you knew?- Ponyboy walked out of the Dingo, as he took a bite of his burger everything in the burger fell off! Leaving him only the bread.
Ponyboy: Such a sad day
Woman: Anyway, Back to the interview- Cherry; How do you feel about the romantic relationship between you and Ponyboy. Anything exciting happening lately? Getting physical
Cherry: First off; Ponyboy and I aren't in a romantic relationship. Second, I believe an interview for the town's local paper is supposed to be informative not immature and lastly; I'm done- I'm leaving...Goodbye
Cherry leaves the Curtis house, Ponyboy sits there shocked
Ponyboy: I thought she loved me
Soon we realize Twobit was in the corner watching as he was eating popcorn the whole Time
Twobit: This is great! I love a good soap opera!
