Ponyboy walks into the living room wearing his Pijamas from a whole week.
"Hey Ponyboy, why aren't you changing? You got school today." Soda says
"I must stay gold."Ponyboy states, He then goes to school.
At school Ponyboy talks to this random girl who's been having a crush on him since she laid eyes on him. "Ponyboy, you know, you still look exactly the same when you were in elementary school. I gusse you have such a baby face or you have a skincare routine" She smiles.
"Not really, I just Stay Gold." Ponyboy corrects.
After school Ponyboys looking at himself in the mirror as he pours some porixide all over his brown roots. Darry walks by and notices what he was doing.
"Ponyboy, why are you pouring this all over your hair?" Darry asks as he snatches the bottle from his hand.
"I MUST STAY GOLD!"
Ponyboy then storms off.
Soon Twobit comes into the kitchen seeing Ponyboy with tears in his eyes. "Ponyboy, What's the matter?" He asks with concern. Ponyboy shows him an empty bowl with one noodle of Mac and cheese sitting there. "Nothing Gold Can Stay." He gives a quivering sigh.
Twobit just rolls his eyes
"Damn, next time cry for a actual reason." Twobit then leaves the kitchen.
Ponyboy then slowly takes a bite if the last peice of Mac and cheese as a tear drops down his eyes. "Stay Gold...Stay Gold." He whispers
