Johnny's Graduation (ft.Y/N)

Johnny's Pov:

I woke up to a nice warm breeze as the birds sang a happy song.

Today was an important day, A day I never thought would come. I was graduating High School.

After all the struggling, all the stress and all the back talk about how I'm no good...Today I'm gonna celebrate and end a chapter of my life as I start a new one.

I can finally leave my abusive parents with all the money I gathered up for that apartment building that's a block away from Buck's.

I can go out explore the world with Dally-maybe even Ponyboy if Darry's alright with it.

All I now is that after today; Life's gonna be a ride.

I walked into the Curtis house with cheers of excitement, everyone giving proud remarks as I thanked them.

I couldn't do it without the gang to be honest; They've been there every step of the way.

I owe it all to them-their my family and I love all of them woth every bit of me.

"So, how do you feel?" Twobit asked

"Nervous-I mean...I haven't even gotten the diploma yet my palms are sweaty!"

"Aw don't be so nervous;everything's gonna turn out just fine." Darry smiled

"How was it like when you graduated Darry?"

"Well, first I ate tacos-Then got accepted for a scholarship."

"Wow, how did you get that?"

"Football."

"I wish I could get a Scholarship."

"You still can Johnny!" Ponyboy blurted "There are other ways to get scholarships besides playing sports for three to four years."

"Really?"

"Yeah! We can help ya' apply to some colleges after the Graduation Party." Soda grinned

"Wow, thanks guys!- I better get ready!" I grabbed stuff and gotten ready.

I wore a black button up shirt with a golden tie Soda had bought for me, over that I wore a red gradation gown, I grabbed my cap and headed into the livingroom.

"Woah! Look at you!" Steve howled

"I'm so proud of you!" Dally grasped me into a hug messing with my hair.

"Thanks guys."

"Welp, time to hit the road boys!" Darry grabbed his keys.

As we drove, I thought of how the future would treat me, I was excited yet worried. I just wanted my life to turn out the way I hoped it would be.

Filled with smiles, adventures, laughs, love and dreams that come true.

Away from the bad and close to the good.

Went I had made it, I seen Y/N Y/L/N, She wore her gown open showing a casual golden dress that she wore.

She was beautiful, I felt a bit saddened knowing that- I'd rarely see her now that we wouldn't be in school anymore.

I was also filled woth regret, not taking the chances I was given to talk to her-tell her how I felt. I guess it's to late now.

I soon found myself standing in a line, as they called our names.

"Johnny Cade."

The Gang went wild, I could hear them rooting for me as I grabbed the Diploma.
