The gang is all seated In the living room, an interviewer standing, starting to ask questions.

The whole gang: Chocolate Cake
Interviewer: OK, umm....If a criminal comes onto the building right now...What is the first thing you'll grab to defend yourself? I'll give you three seconds to pick it up and...Go!
The gang all rummaging around besides Dallas and Johnny.
They all line up in a line.
First there is Sodapop who is behind Darry.
Interviewer: What did you chose Sodapop?

Twobit: I grabbed the TV and a bottle of beer.
Interviewer: And how will it help you in self-defense?
Twobit: Well...Actually, I was planning to steal this but, the three seconds were done so, I had no time.
Darry: Twobit! You were gonna steal our television?!
Twobit: I was just gonna borrow it...Forever.
The Interviewer moves on to Steve who is posing his muscles.
Interviewer: And you?
Steve: There's only three people who can take them down... Me, Myself and I!
Twobit: Oh C'mon Steve, you're to scared to kill a spider, what makes you think you'll be able to fight one on one a armed criminal?
Steve: Shu- *sees spider* Ahhhh *Jumps on Ponyboy* Kill it! Kill it!
Ponyboy: No I won't...it's a living thing and it's bad luck to kill spiders.
Interviewer walks to Ponyboy who is holding a big, like big, like REALLY REALLY 3× THE SIZE YOU THINK BOOK.
Interviewer: That sure Is a big book.
Ponyboy: Yep, I'll just hit the criminal with it.
Steve: And not the spider? Give me that thing *snatches book, dropping it right on the spider*
Ponyboy: No! *Kneels over to pick up the book* Thanks alot you killed a spider with my book
Steve: That's what books are made for!
Ponyboy: No! It's to read, books are made to read.
Interviewer walks up to Johnny who is innocently holding Dallys arm.
Interviewer: and you two?
Johnny: I chose Dally, he protects me from any harm, he's the brother I never had, just like the rest of the gang.
Interviewer: awww, do you say the same Dallas?
Dally: No, I am the criminal! So why would I need to protect myself when I got a gun *Pulls out gun*
