"Your family is us, Talia." Steve said, placing his hand on my arm.

Bucky copied his motions. "You're still you. This changes nothing about you."

"I don't know how you can say that to me right now. Knowing who my family is, what they've done... especially what they've done to you..." I started to feel cold, maybe going outside in just a towel was not my best plan.

Bucky stood up and held his hand out. "You didn't do anything to me. This changes nothing, Talia." He waited for me to take his hand.

Steve stood next to him and held his out too. "He's right. We're your family. Not them."

I smiled at the two men and took their hands. They pulled me up and I wrapped my arms around both of them. "I don't know what I'd do without you two. Thank you."

"You'll never have to find out, doll." Bucky smiled as I felt his arm wrap around me.

And then I remembered I was naked. "Uh, I'm gonna go shower now. Sorry about the... dramatics." I pulled away from them, blushing.

"You gonna be all right?" Steve asked as I started to walk away.

"I think so." Then I clarified. "Yes, I'll be okay. It was just... a lot. But you're right. It doesn't change anything."

I walked to the shower room and started the shower. "FRIDAY, play my music please."

"Of course, Miss Aimilios." FRIDAY responded, and the music began to play over the speakers. I sang along as I cleaned myself, refusing to think of any of the current stressors. Shortly after, someone walked in. I turned and saw Bucky.

"Sorry, is it okay if I interrupt? I never got to shower, I found the note before I could." He smirked at me.

"Yeah, of course. Wouldn't be the first time." I smiled back. But we both knew it was different this time. Now we were together. He started to take his clothes off and I turned back around, facing away from him and started humming. A little later I heard humming from the stall next to me and I smiled.

Bucky and I showered without talking, both just listening to the music, occasionally one of us would sing the words but mostly we hummed along together. Everything felt.. right.

I finished first and turned my shower off, grabbing my towel and drying off in the stall. I stepped out after wrapping it around me.

Bucky popped his head out. "You leaving?"

"Yeah. I'll see you for dinner, okay?" I leaned forward and kissed him quickly before walking to my room. Today had such a crazy turn of events, and you'd think I'd be used to them by now, but I wasn't.

I got dressed and decided to go check on Peggy. It had been a crazy day and I wasn't sure if anyone updated her on the events. I know she wanted to go back home and I didn't want her to think we were purposely putting it off.

I knocked on her door and she answered immediately. "Talia, you're back." She stepped forward and hugged me.

"Yes, we're all back." I hugged her back. She stepped to the side and let me in her room.

"Everything went well then?" She questioned.

I nodded. "Yes, Bucky is back. Everyone is unharmed. I just wanted to check in, how are you?"

"I am well, thank you. I've just been... relaxing I suppose. I didn't quite realize how much I had been living on high alert, living by myself during this time." Peggy smiled. "I cannot begin to express my gratitude that you've brought me there."

"Good, I'm glad. We'll be ordering pizza for dinner, gonna be a family dinner tonight. Will you be joining us?"

"Will Steve be there? How is he?" Peggy asked, looking unsure if she should have asked that.

"He'll be there. He's better. Wanda has been helping him in small doses, and he's getting back to his old self. I'd be surprised if he wasn't with her now, truthfully." I smiled and walked back towards the door. "I'll come get you when it's time."

"Thank you again, Talia."

"Of course."
