Wanda, Peggy, and I walked inside. Peggy strayed behind us, but not too far away. She was shaken up, but hiding it well. We walked into the living room where Rhodey and Eva were talking.

"Hey." I looked at the two of them. "Wanda and I are going to show Peggy to her room and then we have a team meeting in the training room. Meet us there?"

Rhodey nodded. "Us too?" Eva questioned.

"Yes." I said, emotionless. "FRIDAY, can you announce that? Let everyone know to meet in the training room immediately."

"Yes, Miss Aimilios."

I turned to Peggy. "C'mon. I'll show you to your room." She nodded and followed me. Wanda stayed behind her. We walked into the spare bedroom and closed the door behind us. "FRIDAY, no one except Wanda or I can come in this room without ours or Peggy's permission, can you handle that?"

"Certainly, Miss Aimilios."

"You'll be safe in here while we get this figured out. If anyone comes, FRIDAY will ask if you want the person to come in or not. Otherwise only me or Wanda can come in. If you need anything, just talk to FRIDAY, she will either handle it, or get us for you. Please don't leave this room alone." I was worried this would be too much for her, but I didn't know who to trust right now. With the three spies and Steve's brain... I needed her to stay where she was safe.

Peggy understood. "Thank you, the both of you. This is more kindness than I deserve."

I shrugged. "Us women gotta stick together. Besides. We share an ex." I laughed and Peggy smirked.

Wanda and I walked out of the room and heard the door lock behind us. "Now to go deal with the other annoying issue."

Flashback

We sat around a fire, today Ayo was going to test Bucky using the trigger words. Bucky didn't want me there. I'd like to say I used logic and reasoning to argue it but truthfully, I just out stubborned him.

"Are you both sure about this?" He whispered. "You shouldn't be here."

"I got you, Bucky. I'm here." I patted his right hand and then turned to Ayo and nodded.

Bucky grabbed my hand with his.

His grip tightened. "It's not going to work..."

Ayo looked at me, I couldn't tell if the worry I saw was out of care for Bucky, or worry this didn't work. I hoped it was the first option. He needed this to work. "рассвет. Печь."

Bucky stared at the ground, he looked like he was in pain. God, please work. I rubbed small circles on the back of his hand.

Bucky took a deep breath and held it, tears starting to fall down his face.

As soon as she said the last word, Bucky broke down, crying hysterically. Ayo took a deep breath and smiled. I looked at her expectantly and she nodded. I quickly climbed so I was kneeling in front of him. "Bucky, you're free. It worked. Bucky..."

He looked up at me. Tears streaming down his face, but he smiled. "It worked. Talia, it worked."

I jumped forward, hugging him. "I know, Bucky."

He stood up, pulling me up with him. "Thank you, Talia. Thank you."

"Of course, I got your back. Always."

Wanda and I walked into the training room where everyone was talking, likely wondering what was happening. Steve and Sam stood talking, Sam's arm around Angel. My heart hurt seeing them, knowing I was about to break Sam's heart. I cleared my throat to get the attention of everyone.

"Peggy is now staying with us." I spoke loudly, Steve raised an eyebrow but didn't interrupt. "It seems Fury has taken it upon himself to try and..." I searched for the right word, "correct some of our wrong doings. He wants to start up SHIELD, but this time to control us." I paused, letting the news sink in for everyone. There were a lot of complaints going around. I wasn't the only one who wouldn't take that, it seems.

"There's more." I continued. "He thinks of Wanda as a criminal. And I'm sure he'll think the same of us if we protect her."

"Wouldn't be the first time." Rhodey shrugged. "We got you, kid." He looked to Wanda and she smiled a small grateful smile.

I stepped forward, staring Angel in the eyes. "Would you like to tell them the rest, Angel? Or should I?"

Angel froze and Sam started to pull away from her. The whole team started to do the same, it sinking in that if that all was Fury's plan, then what was the true purpose of the three newcomers we were meant to train.

"I... I can explain." Angel stuttered out.

"Please do." Sam stood with his arms crossed.
