After 90 years of running, it had to come to an end. She found herself in Mystic Falls, a place she'd be dreading to go to but it was bound to happen. Luna Salvatore, the youngest Salvatore, arrived in Mystic Falls. Little did she know, her coming t...

Confidence escaped Luna anytime she was forced to speak to Elijah. She was standing outside his door, staring at it blankly, and pulling back each time her hand drew closer to the handle.
She finally swung it open and walked in, smiling awkwardly. It was the only smile she could muster with the rage percolating from Elijah. He didn't smile or glance in her direction, but she didn't anticipate a warm welcome, 'Good morning to you, too.' She muttered.
He continued moving around his room, trying to keep his hands busy with medial tasks while pretending Luna wasn't standing a few feet from him, 'Well. I was walking around my home, as one does, to be interrupted by a creepy vampire with a message for you.' She continued.
She'd expected his head to perk up, or for his curiosity to be piqued in the slightest. When she realised nothing would penetrate through the walls he'd built up, she sighed and recited the words scrawled onto the small card, '"I do hope that you can come, old chum. Signed, Tristan."'
Elijah didn't reply. He walked towards her, reaching over to snatch the small card from her hand. She pulled it away, putting her hand behind her back, 'Anything I should know?'
'This doesn't concern you.'
'Actually, I think it does.'
'You can ask your husband.'
Luna paused, rolling her eyes. A deep breath parted her lips, and she held the card between them, 'I'm asking you.'
Elijah pried the small card from her fingers, skimming over it with narrowed eyes. Though his anger with Luna hadn't subsided, the longer he stared at it, the more she thought he'd give in and explain. His eyes flicked upwards to her once before he turned away.
Luna sighed, taking a step forward into his room. She'd noticed the way he stiffened slightly when she did so, like he knew giving her the cold shoulder wouldn't shake her off this time, 'You know I'm just gonna annoy you until you tell me, right? And I've got all day.'
Elijah turned to face her after a moment, and she smiled innocently in response to his narrowed eyes scrutinising her, as if he were trying to decipher her intentions. 'What would you like to know?' He grumbled through gritted teeth, his face twisting like he regretted speaking them.

'Have the two of you made up? That's sweet.' Klaus taunted as he sipped on his whiskey, his face pulled into a frown at the sight of Elijah and Luna walking into the study together.
'Hardly. But he has clued me in on the new plot your friends have hatched to kill you.' Luna replied, bitterness sharpening her tone. While Klaus' gaze lingered on her as if it was the default, Luna made a conscious effort to avoid sneaking a look in his direction.
'Perfect,' Klaus huffed, glancing between Elijah and Freya, who was detached from the conversation. She stood the furthest away, and her head hung low. Klaus' irritation could be heard from the single word, and Freya looked like she was preparing to mediate an argument. 'I assume you've told her about the prophecy.' He continued.
