Luna chuckled as Klaus turned her onto her back, reconnecting their lips with an intensity she'd missed, and he'd made an effort to make up for it.
She'd returned the passion he'd employed in the kiss, letting everything around them slip away in those few moments. Her body pushed up against his, and the smile on her face didn't cease.
Luna arched into his touch, their bodies moulding together like broken pieces aligning. Her fingers hooked in his hair, deepening the kiss that was equally demanding and tender.
His hips rocked against hers, and they clawed at each other like they were impossible to tame. A low moan escaped Luna's lips, and Klaus pulled away for a moment. His eyes darkened as they dragged over Luna's body, and he breathed deeply.
His head dropped, leaving a string of slow, sloppy kisses against her neck. He took his time, pressing his lips onto every inch of skin. His breath fanned her neck, sending a ripple of chills through her.
Luna tilted her head further back, baring more of her throat to him as an invitation. Klaus didn't hesitate, leaving kisses along her collarbone, 'I should be preparing for tonight.'
'Yes, you should be.' She replied breathlessly, but her arms were still wrapped around him, pulling him closer.
He kissed lower, across her chest and stomach, while his hands smoothed over her waist. He hummed into her skin, 'The art's done. Someone else can deal with the rest.'
Luna laughed quietly, 'I find it hard to believe you'd let someone else handle your prized possessions.'
Klaus pushed himself up, his fingers curling beneath her chin to guide her gaze, 'I've spent years on those paintings. I've looked at them every day. Right now—' He kissed her again, 'I want to be here. With you.'
Luna didn't speak. Her hand reached up to the back of his neck, pulling him closer to close the space between them. She turned them over, straddling him and kissing him like she'd been starving for it.
He pushed a loose strand of hair away from her face, and as his hand skimmed over her thigh, her phone buzzed. Klaus groaned, pressing his forehead against her shoulder.
His hand caught her wrist as she reached for her phone on the nightstand, 'Please don't look at it.'
She pulled her arm from his grip and looked at the message, regardless, 'It's Cami.' She climbed out of bed, reaching for her robe and pulling it on.
'And?' he pressed, turning on his side and watching her with quiet scrutiny.
'She wants to meet. Says it's important.'
'Does she, now?' He raised his brows, turning onto his back and putting his arms behind his head, 'And what kind of important are we talking about?'
Luna ran a hand through her hair, tilting her head to the side at his narrowed eyes and caution. She smiled as she tied the sash at her waist, 'I'll find out when I get there.'
