After 90 years of running, it had to come to an end. She found herself in Mystic Falls, a place she'd be dreading to go to but it was bound to happen. Luna Salvatore, the youngest Salvatore, arrived in Mystic Falls. Little did she know, her coming t...

Luna had taken Marcel's advice, and it left her riddled with anxieties as she paced the courtyard. Every footstep she heard outside made her head snap toward the doors, waiting for Klaus to walk through them.
He finally strode through the door, his brows knitted into a frown at the sight of her, 'What are you still doing here? Did Marcel not come?'
'No, he did. I need to talk to you.'
'Luna, we don't have time.' His hands wrapped around her forearm, gently tugging her towards the stairs.
She resisted, pulling from his grasp, 'I need you to listen to me,' He hesitated, and his eyes softened with the desperation in her voice, 'The Gemini. They-'
She cut herself off, taking a deep breath, 'They what?' Klaus said, taking a step towards her.
'They want Cecelia. They've been giving me weird dreams, and they called me today,' She spat out quickly and watched the way his jaw ticked in anger, 'Do you know what this means? We need a plan, now.'
'I understand the threat they pose, but we need to take down Dahlia first. We can kill a few Gemini when the time comes.'
'And what do you suggest we do? How are we supposed to keep all of this from coming back to bite us in the ass.'
'We play her game,' Klaus replied without missing a beat. Luna frowned, 'We'll— I'll let her think I'm on her side.'
'We're going to pretend to hand our daughter over to her?' Luna almost exclaimed, her eyes widened and frantic at the suggestion.
'I will. If I create enough chaos, if I turn everyone against me, she'll know I have nothing to lose by siding with her,' His hands moved up to cup her cheeks reassuringly, angling her head upwards so their eyes would lock, 'And then I'll take her down from the inside.'
'And what about me? I just stand on the side and let it happen? She won't believe that. No one will.' Luna shook her head, savouring the closeness between them with the fear it may be the last time they hold each other.
'You're right, no one would,' He paused with the words, a brief moment passing before a realisation washed over him, 'You'll say you want to run, to protect Cecelia. Use the Gemini's offer to our advantage.'
Luna took the words in, watching as he slowly descended into a madness brought on by the need to protect his child, 'What if it doesn't work? What if you turn everyone you love against you to no end?'
He breathed deeply, his chest rising and falling as his blue eyes bore into hers, 'Will I still have you?'
