"Ena, where the hell are you?! You were supposed to be here an hour ago!" Sabrina, my best friend, whisper shouted at me through the phone.
"I'm on my way, I promise. The was a bad accident at one of the stop lights, and it held up traffic. I'm 10 minutes away." I told her, driving as fast as I could, without breaking the speed limit.
One of our mutual friends had recently graduated from med school, and her family was throwing her a party in the bar of this upscale hotel.
I had already booked a room, cause I planned on taking advantage of the open bar, and I knew I wouldn't feel like driving back home.
"Alright, I'll see you when you get here. Love ya."
"Love you too."
Ending the call, I focused on weaving through traffic, and finally pulled into the parking lot of the hotel.
Checking my makeup, and giving myself a once over, I grabbed the gift bag out of the front seat, and got out.
As I walked in, I looked through my messages with Bri, to figure out which floor it was on.
This particular hotel has two bars, and one giant restaurant, and I was not about be walking all over this building trying to find the right one.
Quickly checking in, and getting my room keys I got on the elevator, and took it to the highest floor. When I made it there, the doors opened, revealing a rooftop bar.

"Damn, this nice." I mumbled walking out.
Looking around for Sabrina, we spotted each other at the same time.
"Finally, you're here. You look incredible by the way." She said, hugging me.
