"All rise! The U.S. District Court of Columbia is now in session! The Honorable Judge Christine Mattison presiding!" The bailiff announced, as judge Mattison made her way into the courtroom.
I was sitting behind my husband Alexander, and his lawyer, Carlos Drumm.

"You may all be seated. Today marks day four in the case of Alexander Monroe v the state of Washington, in regards to the murder of Wilson Havardi. Mr. Hallow, you may start your cross examination." She said, after banging her gavel.
I watched his stiff ass stand up from his chair, buttoning up his suit.
"Your honor, I would like to call, Mallory Everett to the stand!"
Watching as a red headed woman from the other side of the courtroom stand up, she confidently walked to the stand.
"Do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?" The bailiff asked, making her raise her right hand, while placing her left on the Bible.
"I do."
Taking a seat at the stand, Hallow started questioning her.
"Everett, what was your relationship with the deceased victim, Wilson Havardi?"
"I was his in home housekeeper. I often times, tended to his children, when he and his wife were busy." She said, as her eyes quickly shifted to said wife, Geneva Havardi.
