"Now this is not the end.
It is not even the
beginning
of the end.
But it is, perhaps,
the end of the
beginning"

HALF A YEAR LATER

HALF A YEAR OF PEACE. They've had half a year of nothing. The Salvatore School has not been the primary suspect of any supernatural world-ending situations or hostile take-overs. Thankfully.

It helps when the Mikaelsons now run and protect the school from anything that wants to destroy the place the children feel at home.

The doors to the Salvatore School have opened too many children, ages ranging from 5-18 (or older depending on the vampire). The dormitories have been expanded, housing over 3,000 supernatural beings.

The school had been split into two, the dorms and the classes. Two separate buildings were a lot more efficient and far less crowded.

Classes had been added for all grades that fit the right with the age range. The staff has been hired and the school was thriving excellently.

Stefan had helped Hayley and Caroline reach out to the other supernatural and witch schools to see what type of sports and other extracurricular activities they had. They got a lot of ideas and put their own personal spin on them.

Now, they play against schools around the world in basketball, football, baseball, soccer, softball, swimming, etcetera. They also have games specifically for vampires, witches, and werewolves so they could have their own thing.

The school had become more united under the care of people who were actually part of the supernatural community and had raised children of their own.

Speaking of which, Alaric Saltzman had become the principal at Mystic Falls High with Dorian as his assistant Principal-- or AP as Dorian likes to say. Then we have Rafael who had been taught his lesson by a very angry Rebekah Mikaelson.

He had been allowed to rejoin the school after two months of cleaning every square inch of the buildings and doing whatever Caroline, Hayley, or Katelyn asked of him. He had agreed and is still apologizing to this day to Katelyn about what he did.

Katelyn didn't want to drag him along since she had already forgiven him-- forgive not forget --and knew people had reasons. Rafael had been corrupted by Alaric and had gone through his memories one night when he was asleep in the cellars. He had woken and they talked for a long time so Katelyn wasn't looking to use him as a butler.

Lizzie on the other hand wasn't so forgiving. She was angry at the boy for one, making her girlfriend lose her mind, and two, trying to get with her while Katelyn and she were together-- which he says was Alaric's idea. Lizzie doesn't believe him. Lizzie used Rebekah's punishment as one of her own, making the boy do her bidding.
