Minho was so shocked that his eyes stayed open for a few seconds before he finally closed them. He wrapped his arms around Jisung's body and pulled him closer, letting Jisung's lips brush against his own any way they wanted.

Jisung's lips started to warm up, and soon Minho was cupping his cheeks, warming them as well. Jisung's insides were all fluttery and warm too.

And suddenly, as though life was breathed into him, the last of his memories came flooding back in.

All his past life's memories, all the time that he had spent fighting, all the time he had spent with his friends, his family, and more importantly... the person standing right in front of him.

Minho pulled back lightly with a small gasp and stared at Jisung for a few seconds. "What..." he trailed off.

"So you do remember?"

"I-"

Jisung didn't wait for an answer. He reached up and kissed him again, pulling Minho's head down closer to him so that he could reach.

Minho smiled into the kiss before he pulled away again, this time not straying far. He let Jisung lean against him and he kissed a soft kiss on top of Jisung's forehead. "I'm here."

"I missed you," Jisung whispered back, pressing his nose into Minho's chest and inhaling his familiar scent. "You forgot about everything."

"I'm sorry," Minho rubbed his back gently. "I didn't mean to."

Jisung didn't say anything else. He didn't let go of Minho. The two of them stood locked in an embrace for several minutes without anyone interrupting them.

That, and because someone was standing watch and making sure that no one got in the way.

"Hmmm..." Bang Chan sighed as he stared lovingly at the two boys standing in the kitchen. "How sweet..."

"What's going on?" Changbin asked, coming up behind him.

"Quiet!"

Changbin looked into the kitchen. "Oh, ew, gross, why are they doing that right there?"

"Be quiet, it's cute!"

Changbin shrugged and pretended to shiver in disgust, but when he turned and went back into his room there was a small smile playing at his face.

From that point on, things were very different for Minho and Jisung. It took a couple days to adjust to the idea of having a second life, a life more than a thousand years after they had died in their past life. Some days, Minho would wake from his dreams screaming, others he would sleep curled in Jisung's embrace.

The two boys were almost ready for their monthly assessment, which would be taking place the next day. Jisung and Minho had stayed up late perfecting the recording in the studio, and had spent even more time that afternoon in the dance studio cleaning up their choreography as well.

After taking a shower, Minho collapsed on the bed, letting out a long sigh as he closed his eyes, drifting towards sleep.

Jisung, who came in after him, spotted his eyes fluttering and sighed, walking over to sit down on the bed. He took Minho's head in his lap and brushed Minho's hair out of his eyes. "Are you okay?"

"Mhm," Minho murmured, turning to nuzzle into Jisung's leg. "I just want to sleep."

"Then let's sleep," Jisung lay down beside Minho, big-spooning. Curled up in a warm embrace, Minho was able to sleep well that night, and no nightmares plagued his dreams.
