Who's idea was this? I thought to myself.

"Y'all don't think it would be fun, not to mention warm? Somebody coming with me, I ain't going alone." ChiChi pleaded.

"I got a shop to run. I'm staying right here." I told her.

She rolled her eyes at me before looking at Marcus and Sire.

"Boys?"

"I'm down for anything witchu beautiful." Marcus flirted as usual, and ChiChi stuck her middle finger at him.

"You doing too much. Sire?"

"I can't leave New York. Unless you want me to be arrested."

She pouted. "Fine, you and miss money maker can stay here and freeze y'all asses off. Alexis?"

"Oh I'm going."

I looked at her. "This better be the last trip you take. Cuz you supposed to getting ready to register for classes."

"I know MOM."

"Bitch..."

Alexis laughed and I waved her off. I'm too young to be somebody mama. She better stop playing with me.

I reached for my water off of Marcus coffee table and sat back.

"When y'all leaving?"

"Friday, so let's end this get together so we can pack. I'm already booking flights."

I laughed as ChiChi and Alexis got up and made a B-line for the door. Marcus decided to walk them down to the lobby, leaving Sire and I alone in his apartment.

We sat quietly until Sire cleared his throat.

"Tryna smoke?"

I looked over at him and gave him a small nod. I watched him as he stood and made his way to the balcony.

I followed behind at my own pace, so many thoughts running through my head.

Sire and I's relationship sure was weird. I didn't know if we were friends, I mean we cuddled together. On accident.

It's just that sometimes we were at each other's throats and other times we were fine. I didn't know what to make of it.

Shutting the sliding door behind me, I walked over to his side as he lit the blunt between his lips.

Last time we were out here.....

"Why'd you kiss me on New Years Eve?" I asked him quickly before I lost my courage.

He pulled the blunt, removing it from his lips and handing it down to me.

I watched him as he blew the smoke from his lips with a shrug.
