"Sorry I'm late."

I sat trying to conceal my facial expressions as Sybil greeted Heather.

It had been 4 days since she popped up at my door claiming she was carrying my kid. And at this point, all a nigga wanted was answers.

"Sire." Sybil nudged my arm. I sat back into the booth and looked at Heather.

"Hi."

She sighed and placed her hands on the table.

"We don't have to make this a drawn out thing okay? Ima start by apologizing, I shouldn't have popped up at your apartment like that but you did block my number." I rolled my eyes as she looked at Sybil. "And I know it's not what we here to talk about but I'm sorry for the shit I was DM'ing you."

I snapped my head at Sybil.

"You wanna explain that?"

She waved her hand at me, not giving me a response.

"I was being petty. That's all." Heather spoke.

"You were 2 seconds from getting yo ass beat, but I stayed calm." Sybil mumbled.

Wow, nobody tells me anything.

Heather continued. "Whatever. I'll be two months next Monday, so—"

"That kid ain't mine. Like I told you." I said smartly.

Sybil slapped my arm and I looked at her.

"What?"

"Calm the fuck down."

I sucked my teeth, leaning back into my previous spot.

"No, it's not yours. You don't have to be such a dick."

"I got every right to feel what I feel, you shouldn't have come saying niggas was fathers when you wasn't a 100% sure."

"I wanted it to be yours."

"Why? I ain't a good person. Ain't no role model for a kid."

"I wanted it to be yours cuz I didn't want it to be PK's."

Sybil looked at me with a surprised expression.

I nodded to myself.

"Ima knock his teeth out."

Getting up from the booth, I could hear Sybil tryna scramble after me. Both of us leaving Heather at the table.

Conversation was over anyway.

"Sire...... Sire...... Sekhani!"

I ignored her, unlocking my car and getting in.
