Tris and I made our way back to Four's house where we found Evelyn laying out the plan of attack to everyone who was gathered in the house.

"Glad you made it in time." Evelyn addressed us as we entered the house. Tris and I shared a look of annoyance as she made her way to Four and I joined Peter and Uriah on the other side of the table. " The plan is for us to attack Erudite, the main goal out of all of this is to destroy Erudite's data. Those who were not shot with the serum will invade headquarters and remove every Erudite member by any means necessary."

"Wait a minute. Do you mean to kill every member of Erudite?"Christina interrupted her.

"Yes."

"I'm not okay with that." Christiana stated. I nodded my head right along with her

"She's right, we shouldn't be murdering an entire faction just because some of them are bad. We would be no better than they are at that point." I made my opinion known. "I'm not going if it means killing everyone there."

"Don't worry Wren, you and Tris will be with me for the attack." Four tried to calm us.

"Actually I'm not going." Tris muttered slowly. "I'm not going to put my life at risk anymore." I watched as Tris tried to cover up her lie. If she wasn't going to go then I had to stay behind and make sure she didn't get herself killed. Tris, Christina, and I made our way upstairs as Evelyn continued to talk about the plan of attack.

"So what's the real plan. I know you better than to think you're going to stay out of trouble." I turned toTris. She smiled at me sheepishly.

"I was going to ask you guys to help me gather more information with Marcus."

"That sounds better than going to Erudite to muder a bunch of people." Christina said and I nodded my head in agreement.

"So tomorrow we will meet Marcus in the same place we met him today and we will figure it out from there." Tris told us. We settled in for the night, I had returned to my parents home and slept in their bed for the night. When I woke in the morning I repeated the same process I had the morning before, checked that my clothes were dry and took a shower. I arrived at the headquarters before Christina and Tris, I got comfortable as people passed me, some giving me an odd look, others rushing past me as if I had given them a reason to be scared for their lives. Tris and Cristina finally showed up along with Marcus.

We followed Marcus to where a blue pickup was parked. Inside we saw three pairs of clothes in Amity colors. I was reluctant to change but knew it was better to blend in if we were going to run into Dauntless Erudite. I slipped on a dull red dress that stopped at my knees, I left my tight black pants and boots on. I was willing to cut the dress into a shirt if I needed to. I let my hair down, pulling some of it back so if I was running it wouldn't blind me, Christina and Tris both had short hair and could pass a transfers whose hair was growing out. We all hopped in the car with Marcus, all three of us girls in dresses. We took off towards the fence, not saying much to each other but allowing Marcus to remind us to smile and be pleasant whenever we would pass people.

When we reached the fence the Dauntless guards were already waiting for us. Wayne wasn't among them and I quickly hid the disappointment as we got within eyesight of the guards.

"What's your business here?" Called one of the guards through the open window.

"They were enlisted to help bring provisions into the city. I am just escorting them back home safely." Marcus answered for us. The guards take another look at us and allow for us to pass into Amity. We all relaxed once we were safely out of sight again. Once we made it into Amity we followed Tris as she sought out Johanna. We found her in a greenhouse.

"Well well I can't say I'm surprised to see you back here again." Was the greeting we got as we entered the greenhouse.

"We wouldn't be here if we didn't need your help." Tris retorted. I watched Johanna's face fill with several emotions and then fall back into the peaceful Amity face she often wore.

"What Tris means to say is that something is about to go down. The factionless have teamed up with the loyal Dauntless in order to attack Erudite. They want to wipe out every member of Erudite; we can't let that happen." I saved the conversation. Johanna's face didn't stay in the peaceful Amity expression I was so familiar with. I could see the anger.

"We knew you wouldn't want to ideally buy as more people are killed. We came to ask that you allow us to speak to the Erudite refugees you are hiding in Amity. We also thought Amity might be willing to act as peacekeepers so no one else has to die." Tris finished for me.

"I would have to call a meeting with the members of Amity before I could make any such decision." Johanna explained. "But I think we might need to step up."

We followed Johanna to the main hall where others were already gathered. Johanna gestured to some members that indicated that she needed everyone gathered. We waited quietly as more and more Amity streamed into the building. I saw the little girl holding hands with an older woman who looked very much like her. When she saw me she smiled and waved at me, I waved back as warmth spread through my body at the smile that lit up her face. Once everyone was gathered Johanna began. She explained to Amity what we had told her, as we waited for Amity to vote Tris noticed someone waving at us. Christina and Tris head over to her side, I realized this must have been Cara, Will's sister from Erudite.

I didn't join them. I watched as Cara nodded to whatever it was that Tris was asking of her. Probably agreeing to help us. I watched as Amity voted to remain uninvolved.

"Well if that's how everyone feels then Amity will remain uninvolved. I will, however, be going into the city. Even if it means I will no longer be Amity. They need help and it is the right thing to do." Johanna announced.

Cara, Tris, and Christina had left the hall before the vote had finished. I left after Johanna motioned for me to follow her. We exited the hall.

"Where are your friends?"

"I think they left with an Erudite refugee, Cara. Our friend Will's sister." Johanna nodded and led me towards where the Erudite were staying.

We walked in and I noticed there were more Erudite than I had thought hiding out here. They were all gathered around Tris and Christina who had just finished asking for them to improve upon the plan they had come up with.

"Instead of putting the data on a disk you should send it to the other factions. This allows for there to always be a copy so it can't be destroyed." Cara pitched in.

"We will go with you to help." A few others call out and another few shout out about gadgets that might be useful. We gathered around these gadgets and watched as a small disk shattered the glass around us, Tris and I shared a look thinking the same thing. This was a good distraction. Cara pulled out a small stun gun.

"I designed them so that an Amity that decided to fight would not have to shoot or kill anyone." She admitted sheepishly. I smiled at how considerate she was, just like Will.

We made our way as a group back towards the gate into the city. I halted and the group stopped moving. I held my finger up to my lips, silencing the group. I motioned for Tris and Chrstina to follow me as the rest of the group hid. As we approached the gate we noticed that not only was it open but it was unguarded. We checked the perimeter for guards and couldn't find any. We motioned for the rest of the group to pass through the gate.
