We made our way further towards the city. Trsi was talking to one of the Erudite members about Caleb. I overheard him mention that Caleb had been a suck up to Jeanine from the beginning. I accidentally let out a disgusted noise at the piece of information and those around us had let out a few laughs. We tried to keep as quiet as we could, I was on the constant look out for the missing guards from the gate.

"You know we're insurgents now." The Erudite Tris had been talking to called out as we reached the city. We had all let out a laugh this time, nodding our heads in agreement. We made our way into a building where we found a stash of blue and blakc Erudite clothing. The group split into men and women as we changed into the clothing in order to blend in. I slipped off the dress I had worn over my black pants and was glad I had kept my boots on. I dug through the clothes to find something that wouldn't hinder my ability to move. I found a white tank top that I slipped on and found a blue sweater that would be the easiest to move in. I rolled up the sleeves and tucked a gun into my waistband. I grabbed another gun and checked to make sure I had my knife still in my boots.

We left the building as I noticed that Tris had not taken a gun with her. I was glad I had grabbed an extra one before we left just in case. As we moved through the city I began to worry. It was just too quiet for my liking. Then as if some higher power had overheard my thoughts we were hit with gun fire. Tris and I began leading the group to take shelter in a nearby building as we checked out our enemy.

"They aren't Dauntless." I shouted to Tris, taking notice of the black and white outfits. "They're Candor." They were giving up the same blank stare the Dauntless had been giving us when they had attacked Abnegation. Once our group was safely in the building Tris and I covered each other in our retreat.

"What was that?" Christina yelled as we moved up through the building barricading ourselves in the building.

" Simulation Candor." I shouted up to her.

Once we were high enough to avoid being shot by those on the ground we regrouped.

"We can't go back out there, they have us surrounded." I called to Tris as I looked out the window. "We have to find another way to Erudite. Now is the time to put those brains to work."

I heard hushed whispers from the group of Erudite. I paced the floor we were stuck on and came across a window that looked directly into another building that looked like Erudite.

"Hey guy's check this out." I yelled out behind me. The group came rushing over. "Is that an Erudite building?" I asked motioning towards the building next to us.

"Yes, we can travel from this window to that one. We just have to hope it's not in an occupied room. " One of the Erudite confirmed. I nodded and Tris and I began a search for a ladder to fit between the windows. Tris found a ladder we could place it between the buildings, we used the glass shattering dick to shatter the windows in front of us, this caused the Candor to shoot up at us but their bullets were unable to reach us as we ducked back into the building.

"They only respond to sound, if we cross quietly we should be fine." I whispered to the group.

We pushed the ladder of the window and across to the other side. Tris crossed first, She slipped as she reached the other side but was able to pull herself up from the window sill. I followed after her and held the ladder steady as the other cross. Tris had decided to guard the room, so no one would walk in on us and sound an alarm. The Erudite who had called us insurgents was the last to cross. As he began to move across the ladder it began to shake, with no one on the other side to hold it still. This resulted in his glasses falling to the ground below us. I turned away and let go of the ladder as I heard the sound of gunshots being fired into the air once more.

"We have to keep going. Hide your weapons and act like you belong here." Tris commanded.

I moved to the front of the group once more as everyone fixed their clothing and hair to blend in more. As we entered the hallway I recognized the building, it was in fact headquarters but a different floor than the one Tris had been held on days ago. We moved silently through the building, having broken up into smaller groups so we didn't draw unnecessary attention to ourselves. Tris and I lead the first group, with Cara and Marcus. Christina was in the group behind us. We made sure to move quickly but to remain in sight of each other. The deeper we got into headquarters the closer we got to the control room Four had found when he had been here.

Soon we were passing through the floor Tris had been held captive on and into the control room. We huddled into control room A once we arrived but before the doors could shut behind us Caleb stepped in. In his hand was a gun.

"What are you doing here?" Caleb demanded.

"Trying to save Erudite data before we destroy it."

"I know what information you're trying to send out." Caleb responded.

"Jeanine." I mumbled under my breath.

"Releasing this information will destroy everything!" Caleb insisted.

"We were put here for a reason, it is time that we serve that purpose." Marcus tried to reason with Caleb. The two men continued to fight and I watched Tris's face grow annoyed. While Caleb's attention was occupied Tris kicked him, which caused him to drop the gun which she quickly picked up and tucked into her waist band. As soon as the gun was in her hands I pulled Cara to the computers and we began searching through them.

"I hope you weren't ever considering being in Erudite. You wouldn't have made it. You must be stupid to think Jeanine would keep such important information in a public computer." Caleb hissed at us. With a nod Tris and I agreed that we needed to search elsewhere. As we filed out of the room Marcus knocked Caleb unconscious.

"I'll stay with him." Cara volunteered. With that we were moving back through the building towards Jeanine's lab.
