Prompt: Okay I remember Dimitri saying medicine makes him loopy on twitter xD can you do a prompt where Dimitri hurts himself and Theo takes care of him but Dimitri is loopy on pain killers? I don't know I just think it'd be funny to see how Dimitri would act xD

“Hi Theo,” Mrs. Ivanov said.
“Hi Mrs. Ivanov. How’s Dimitri?” I asked.
Dimitri had been playing with his brother, and slipped and hurt himself near their pool. He’d injured his back and pulled something in his neck.
“He was in a lot of pain, even if he wouldn’t say it. My husband is forcing pain medication down his throat,” she said with a sigh.
“Forcing it? Why, does Dimitri not want it?” I asked in confusion. If he was hurt, why wouldn’t he want pain medication?
“Dimitri has two reactions to pain medication. He either gets very tired and falls right asleep, or he gets very…loopy,” she said, shaking her head. “He hates taking pain medication because he hates not being in control of the way he acts.” She sighed. “I guess I should be happy, because I don’t have to worry about him with drugs and alcohol.”
“Loopy?” I raised an eyebrow.
“He can do some pretty crazy things when he’s on medication,” she said. “If you didn’t know he was on medication, you’d probably think he was severely intoxicated.”
I laughed. “Well, this should be fun.”
Mr. Ivanov came downstairs. “I gave him his medicine. He’s, uh, not tired after it,” he said.
“I’ll go take care of him,” I said.
“Thank you Theo. Please let us know if you need help. I had to give him a lot. He was in so much pain,” Mr. Ivanov said, looking nervous and a little upset.
I went upstairs and into Dimitri’s bedroom. He was sitting up, struggling to get out of his bed.
“Whoa, hey, your mom said you’re not supposed to get out of bed!” I said, hurrying over and carefully pushing him back down.
“Theo!” he said happily, and I could instantly tell that his dad had given him quite a bit of medication. He threw his arms around me in a messy hug.
“Easy boy,” I said, hugging him back, careful of his injuries. “Okay, you need to stay in bed.”
“No! I want to dance with you, Theo!” he insisted, trying to get up.
“Stop, stop, stop. I don’t even know how to dance. And I know you can’t feel it right now because your dad just turned you into a numb druggie, but you are very injured,” I said, holding him down. He was going to get even more injured if I let him out of bed, and I didn’t want that. Even Alek had seemed to feel bad for him when she told me about how bad he was hurt.
“Release me, peasant! I wish to dance! No force will come between me and the power of the beat!” Dimitri argued.
“Your clumsy feet will. You can’t even run without falling and hurting yourself, how do you expect to dance?” I asked. “Just lay here. I’ll lie with you.”
“The beat calls to my feet!” He stopped and let out bellowing laughter. “I am a poet!”
“Of course you are,” I said, patting his head. He lacked any of his usual flare, and instead wore nothing sweatpants. His hair was lying flat against his head. He looked so good…
Whoa, focus Theo. Crazy drugged up boyfriend trying to injure himself further because of a sudden passion for dance. Focus.
“Have I told my mother that I love her today? I don’t think I have. I wish to go tell her!” he said, and I had to restrain him again.
“She knows you love her, Dimitri. And if you really love your mom, you’ll stay in bed so she doesn’t worry about you,” I said, holding his arms down.
He kissed my lips. “I love you too! Have I told you that? I don’t think I have. I love you! I love you quite a lot Theodore!”
“I love you too,” I said, kissing him. “Now, will you please lie down?”
He tried to tug me down with him, and I pulled myself back in fear. “Stop, I almost fell on you! Oh my god I’d break your back and then you’d never be able to move and I’d have to carry you everywhere and DON’T PULL ME ON YOU I DON’T WANT TO BREAK YOUR BACK.” I snapped my mouth shut.
“You’re crazy,” Dimitri said, tilting his head to the side.
“Don’t do that either! You hurt your neck!” I reminded, coaxing his head so that it wasn’t tilted. “You need to sleep, Dimitri.” I searched his dresser and found, amongst the many pills there, sleeping pills. “Hey Dimitri, want to know what will make you dance even better?”
“A live performance from Beyonce?” he guessed.
“No. Well, yes. But these pills! They’re for dancing,” I said, holding them out to him.
He took them from me, swallowing them down with water. He moved to get up, but I held him down until he looked drowsy.
“You lied to me. The passion for dancing has left me,” he mumbled sleepily.
I kissed him. “Sorry, but you’ll thank me when you wake up,” I said.
He drifted off to sleep, and I crawled into bed next to him, holding his hand. I let out a sigh, shaking my head. I was dating a total crazy freak. I kissed his cheek, laughing a little. Next time I’d have to record him.
