Albedo heavily breathed as he watched the forest around he burn to the ground. He started coughing because of the smoke..
"Mom?!" Albedo shouted out while running into the forest again to look for his dear mother. "Mom where are you?!" Albedo looked around as the trees around him fell.
"MOTHER!" The snow underneath him crunched as he ran to his mom. He fell to his knees and picked up his mother, not knowing if she was alive or not. He couldn't tell, he wasn't even 15 yet.
He ran out of the forest with his mother, he wasn't very strong so he stumbled down when he was out of the forest. The snow biting at his fingers.
He coughed a bit bit then heard the snow crunch in front of him. He looked up and saw a boy, around the same age as him, maybe a little older, standing in front of him.
"Your mother.." he began, "She's dead." The boy with ginger hair said.
Albedos eyes widened as he looked at his mother who wasn't moving. "No..no! She's alive! I know she is.." Albedo hugged his mother close.
"Shes dead. You have to let her go, your not safe here." The boy kneeled down to face Albedo better.
"Shut up! I'm not leaving her!" Albedo slightly moved away from him, tears starting to run down his red, cold cheeks.
"..what's your name boy?" The boy asked Albedo. Albedo stayed silent as he shivered, "Why do you wanna know?" He eventually answered.
"Just tell me your name." The ginger haired boy was a bit more stern this time.
"It's..Albedo.." Albedo looked away.
"Albedo, I'm Ajax..I'll keep you safe..just let your mother go. You can't save her." Ajax (Childe) put his hand out, to help Albedo up.
Albedo looked at him hand, Ajax had a slight smile on his face, it looked kind.
Albedo looked back at the burning forest, then at his mother.
Albedo put his head against his mothers.
"I love you.." Albedo said softly to his mother, knowing he wouldn't get a response.
Albedo let his mother go and took Ajax's hand and got up with him.
"You did the right thing." Ajax reassured him. "I'll get you somewhere safe, have my coat." Ajax put his coat on Albedos shoulders and began walking with him.
"Where are we going..?" Albedo looked up at Ajax, his face having cold dried tears on his cheeks.
"Wake up." Ajax responded.
"What?" Albedo was confused.
"Albedo, wake up!" He said again.
Albedo titled his head a bit.

Albedo woke up, now realizing that when Ajax (Childe), said 'wake up' it was actually Childe (Ajax) trying to wake up, which made it mixed up a dream and reality.
