Sandro's POV:

He wanted to punch himself, he forgot Iona's check-up the other day. Yes, there's no denying that I'm meeting with my ex. Well, we made out but I never did all the way with her. I'm trying to balance my feelings between Iona and Monique but it seems that he neglected his wife in order for him to find answers if he still loves his ex. His relationship with Iona and his family is also affected, his work may not  but his family is. He heard Iona weeping, he sure is guilty, he wanted to pull his wife closer to him and comfort her, simply because he's the reason why his wife is crying but he can't, nahihiya siya. Damn him!!!. Hindi niya natiis kaya lumabas na lang siya ng kwarto and went to their bar counter it's too late for him to return coz his brother Simon already saw him. He handed him another glass of brandy.

"Follow me" seryosong utos nito, he knows that Simon already has an idea of what is happening.

"She's here, right? Don't deny, Clein slipped her mouth when she called me" Simon added.

"Alam mo naman pala, why do you need to confirm it?" sarcastic na sagot niya

"So, you two are fucking up behind Iona? And that's okay with you?" ngisi ni Simon. Nainis naman siya kaya hinawakan niya ito sa kwelyo.

"I'm not fucking her, what do you know anyway, nothing right?" tinulak naman siya ng kapatid.

"Then what the hell are you doing? After Monique left you, she's coming back to claim you as nothing had happened? Kuya naman you already have Iona. I told you before that if you can't track your own feelings leave her alone. Let her be happy with someone else, you don't fuckin deserve her. Anong tingin mo sa kanya bobo? You think hindi niya alam, na hindi nakakahalata ang asawa mo? Well, newsflash Mr. Sandro self-proclaimed righteous and courageous your wife knows it. She might not have any idea who is it but she knows that you have been screwing her behind her back" hindi niya napigilan nasuntok niya ang kapatid. Nagulat naman ito pero bumawi din ng suntok. It's a good thing nasa tago at medyo malayo sila sa mga kwarto sa mansion.

"Do you love Iona?" tanong nito.

"I do love her Simon I always tell you there's no question in that" sagot niya

"Then set her free, I'll look after her" kumunot ang noo niya

"What the f$%^& are you saying?"

"I said let her go, I'll take your responsibility as a father and I'll look for someone who can really love her. No need for you to engage yourself with them. Let them live a normal and happy life, they don't deserve to be with someone who can't even name love from stupidity or differentiate lifetime from a short time, ikaw ang pinaka magaling na Mariano, ikaw ang pinakagwapong Mariano, ikaw ang nasa iyo na lahat Mariano but does a Sandro Mariano really knows how to love or even capable of loving someone? I don't think so?" Natigilan siya sa sinasabi ng kapatid, ipina-mukha sa kanya ni Simon na siya ang pinaka tanga sa lahat.

"Whenever you see Monique is it the same feeling you get to feel when you're with Iona?" The answer is no, whenever he is with Monique he feels that it was just an obligation for himself to see his ex just to clarify his feelings, it's like a responsibility that he needs to do for himself. He can't stop comparing Monique to Iona, nagagalit nga sa kanya minsan si Monique kapag naalala niya ang simpleng mga bagay kay Iona bigla na lang siyang napapangiti na hindi na niya pinapansin ang sinasabi nito kapag magkasama sila. He's not enjoying Monique's company anymore akala niya noong una mahal niya pa ang ex but Simon is really good in putting some senses into him. Nabobore na siya sa ex kapag magkasama sila, the spark is gone. Maybe he got too excited to be with her because he missed her as a friend. Well he still can't deny the fact that they have been together for six years. We were buddies, close friends, we shared the same likes and such before they become a couple they were friends first. Hindi niya napansin na yun pala ang nararamdaman niya sa dating girlfriend. It's crystal clear to him now and thanks to his not so bright and smart brother. Ngumisi naman ito.

"Hindi ka masagot? Siguro nga mahal mo pa si Monique, Okay, I won't stop you, I'll ask Blake for annulment papers tomorrow and I'll convince Iona to sign it." aalis na sana ito ng hilahin niya sa kwelyo.

"Damn kid, you already know the answer." sambit niya

"Oh diba buti pa ako umpisa pa lang alam ko na, eh ikaw? Ano pang iniaarte mo? Tsk Kuya, I don't want to tell you this kasi wala na kayo at matagal na. The reason why I don't like Nicolo from the very start, wanna know, why?" pambibitin nito sa kanya

"Just spill it"

"Monique and Nicolo had been fucking behind your back for a year, Hindi mo yun napansin?" Actually nakahalata na din naman siya noon pero dahil may tiwala siya kay Monique binalewala na lang niya. Unlike with Iona now madikit lang sa kung sinong lalaki nagagalit na siya, naiinis, nagseselos it's not that he doesn't trust Iona, it's that he can't let other man touch his precious wife. Speaking of wife he needs to do a lot of explaining and kailangan niya itong suyuin.

"Naghinala pero binalewala ko na lang" maikling sagot lang niya.

"Eh kay Iona kung sakaling natuloy ni Nic-"

"Stop right there kung ayaw mong masuntok ulit, sinasabi ko sayo Simon wag mo akong bwesetin"

"Tsk tapos yan ang hindi alam kung sino ang totoong mahal? Baliw ka na alam na alam mo ang sagot nagbubulagbulagan ka pa ano ka peynkish at dilawish?" nakangiwing komento ng kapatid.

"Oo na tama ka na, help me set up a romantic dinner for Iona tomorrow kailangan kong bumawi sa asawa ko"

"Ayan jan ka magaling ayaw ko nga ang sakit ng suntok mo?"

"You can have my limited edition watch" nanlalaki naman ang mata ng kapatid sa narinig. Tatlo lang kasi ang ganun sa buong mundo and he got the most valuable one.

"Wow mahal mo nga si Iona hahaha, you're willing to give me that just to help you, ibang klase okay deal" nagpaalam na siya dito na aakyat na at matutulog. Mahimbing na ang tulog ni Iona, hinila niya palapit ang dalaga at niyakap mula sa likod.

"I love you mahal ko" sabi niya bago siya nakatulog.
