Two days later
Robert's POV
"You ready to go babe?" I asked picking my bag up from the hospital bag
"So ready." She replied
"Come on." I said raising my hand so she can take ahold of it
We walked out of our room, signed our discharge papers at the nurses' station then met Pruitt at the car in the car park.
"How you guys feeling?" He asked as he started driving us home.
"Better, still not one hundred percent yet." I said
"Dad can you pass by James' day care please?, I wanna pick him up." Andy said
"Sure"
At the day care
Andy's POV
"Hi good day, I'm Mrs Sullivan, I'm here to pick up James Sullivan please."
"Hi Mrs Sullivan, of course, please follow me." the receptionist said
"He has been giving a little trouble to drink the formula, I think he prefers breast milk."
"He does, it's just been really hard to pump with work but I'll do my best."
She nodded
"There he is." She said pointing to a crib in the room filled with cribs
"Thank you." I said
"Hi baby boy." I said picking him up
"I missed you so much, let's go see dada."
When I walked outside the day care, I saw Robert leaned against the closed car door waiting for us
"Hi buddy." Robert said placing a gentle kiss on James' forehead
"Come on let's go home, I need my boys and my bed." I said kissing Robert on his cheek
At the Sullivan's home
Robert's POV
*ring ring ring*
"Honey it's Luke, I'm gonna take this." I said walking to the living room while answering my phone.
"Hey Luke."
"Hey Sully, how are you guys feeling?"
"We're better, we just picked up Ollie at day care and we're home now."
"Okay great, do you have a minute? I wanna talk to you about something..."
"Yeah sure go ahead."
"I want to introduce you guys to someone...she's the one man."
"Wow Luke, that's great."
"Yeah but it's kind of urgent, we wanna get married tomorrow and we really want you guys there but I want you and Andy to meet her first."
"Why don't y'all come over for around half 7? James will be asleep by then and Andy will be able to a rest before you come."
"Sure yeah, that sounds good."
"I'm not cooking though, I'll order in."
"No problem with that."
"Okay Luke, see you later."
"Bye Sully."
In their bedroom
I walked into our bedroom to see my wife and son fast asleep on my bed. Andy on her side and Ollie in the middle. I took of my shirt and jeans and climbed into bed. I gently brought Andy closer to me while gently resting my arm on James.
"Everything okay with Luke?" She mumbled softly with her eyes still closed
"Yeah but he needs to introduce us to someone, they're getting married tomorrow and he wants us to be there but he wants us to meet her first. I told him to come over for half 7. Ollie will be asleep by then and we both would get enough time to rest. I'll order in also."
"Yeah sounds good." She mumbled before falling asleep
1 hour later
Andy's POV
*wahhhhh wahhhhhh wahhhhhh*
I shot up, waking Robert up also.
"Hey hey hey, mommy is right here." I said picking up my crying son bouncing him up and down a little.
"Love go back to sleep, he was just hungry, he is already falling back asleep." I said looking at my very exhausted husband while putting my nipple into James' mouth.
He nodded while putting his head back down on his pillow and placing his hand on my thigh.
For such a strong, tall man his form of showing love is physical touch. He always has to have our skin together. Whether it be holding hands, his hand on my thigh, kissing my forehead and even shampooing my hair... he loves to do that.
After a few minutes I burped James, then making sure he was sleeping strongly, I placed him on the bed gently before laying back down and putting my hand over my boys embracing them both.
