Andy's POV
"J baby come feel this..." I called him to the couch where I was sitting.
"Gimme your hand..." I said to which he smiled and put out his hand. I took his hand and placed in on my belly where the baby was kicking...
His face immediately lit up and his mouth formed in an O.
"Do you think they are boys or girls?"
"Am brotha and sista..." he smiled
*click click*
"Hey guys..." Robert entered
"Dada!" James ran up to him so which Robert immediately picked him up and threw him up in the air.
"Hi buddy." Robert smiled "I missed you. Were you good today? Did you take care of mommy?"
"Yes." James smiled proudly
"You know tomorrow we're gonna find out the gender of your siblings... if they gonna be boys or girls..."
"He said he thinks it's a boy and a girl..." I said
"Ouuuu I like that." Robert said ticking J bring him to a loud and contagious laughter.
"I'm gonna get ready." I said kind of cold... keeping our conversations on a short until he explains to me what is going on
"Okay." He frowned I guess disappointed at my tone
3 hours later
"I'm guessing you figured out we're going to the beach..." he said not taking his eyes off the road
"Yeah."
"Um I uh organized a um picnic for us... but not on the sand itself, in the trunk and backseat... like the old days..."
"That sounds really nice..." I said genuinely
"I know we have to talk about... you know... and I know you're very angry at me but can we not talk that until we reached and settle down...?"
"Sure yeah." I said kind of annoyed that he keeps pushing this discussion
In the truck
Robert's POV
I set up the area with a big comfy white blanket, pillows, snacks, food and drinks. Once I finished I told Andy to join me in the back...
"Let me help you up..." I said while being my hands to her waist and bending face level to lift her up... thankfully my leg didn't decide to hit my while I held her...
"Thank you..." she smiled slightly while getting herself comfortable
"No problem." I said while following suit
"So..." I started
"So..." she frowned
"I'm sorry... about last night..."
She nodded not meeting eyes with me
"I need to tell you something..." I said nervously
"Ok." She said coldly
"I um... it's not really a big deal but after last night I thought I owed you a night out at least."
"Ok"
"The pain is back." I said softly
"What pain? Your leg? I thought it stopped after the surgery?" She said confused
"It did but during a fire a few weeks ago, I tried to kick a door down and well after that is began again..."
"How long ago was this?"
