Robert's POV
"Morning 19." I said walking into the beanery where everyone was having breakfast.
"Morning Chief." I heard everyone in union as I turned to get one of smoothies from the fridge but to my surprise there wasn't any
"Can I have some of your smoothie please?" I asked my wife shyly while walking up to the table
"Of course..." she laughed noticing my uncomfortable state
"You should eat something." She whispered
"I'm not hungry..." I smiled faintly before taking a big sip of her smoothie and heading back to my office
In the beanery
Andy's POV
"The way that man looks at you... is unbelievable..." Maya said referring to Robert
"What do you mean?" I asked confused
"Once his eyes fall on you, his chief's eyes disappear." Travis chuckled
"He is my husband you know..." I chuckled
"I think he loves you more than you love him." Jack said in the most annoying way possible
"Don't start Gibson." Ben said advocating for me
In Robert's office
Robert's POV
*knock knock knock*
"Come in..."
"Good day Chief Sullivan..." A woman said while walking in to my office and stopping mid sentence
"Yes how can I help you?" I said standing up from my chair
"Um am um I'm Ari Lan... the publicist for the station." She said nervously
"Oh yes I completely forgot you where coming today..."
"That's okay..." she laughed while reaching over my desk and touching my arm. I immediately pulled it away and placed my hands in my pocket
"Is everything okay?" I asked kind of confused and a little disgusted
"Yes yes, I just didn't expect the Battalion Chief to be so... young... and fit...and..." she trailed off
"Would you like to meet the team?" I interrupted
"Um sure."
In the barn
"Everyone this is Ari Lan, she is the new publicist for the station. Every now and then she will come around... maybe take some pictures, ask questions so on..." I said as the team gathered in front of us
"Good morning everyone, today I will solely focus on your Battalion Chief, taking pictures, asking him questions..." she said looking at me
Andy's POV
"Who the hell does that woman think she's looking at?" I thought in my head as I inspected how she was practically drooling over my husband
"Does she not see his ring?" I thought
"What is she doing?" Maya whispered closer to me as we both notice how she is touching and giggling like a girl
"I'm about to go crazy-"
"ENGINE 19, LADDER 19, AID CAR 19 REQUESTED AT STRUCTURE FIRE AT 134 AVENUE."
"She got lucky..." Maya laughed as we ran to the engine
After the fire
"Why the hell is she touching his head? He doesn't have hair to fix!" I said frustrated as we pulled into the station
