Robert's POV
Andy and I spent the first half of our day together with James. We watched a movie, cuddled, a bubble bath in between which led to more 'cuddling.' At around 5 I told her I was leaving the house and taking James with me and that she can use this time to get ready.
"Love, I need to go. I'm taking James with me also..." I said softly as she traced circles on my chest
"But I'm comfy." She replied
"Aw baby, you'll be more comfy later." I said smirking
"You can use this time to get ready okay." I said starting to move under her
"Okay..." she said with sad eyes
I smiled at how cute she looked
"I love you." I laugh before kissing her and turning to leave.
Tonight I really want to show how much I appreciate my wife. I planned a dinner on the same beach we got married on, in the same spot the ceremony was held. I used the same color scheme we chose for our wedding for the decorations. I was contemplating whether or not to take James with us but I decided to go against it. So when I left the house I went to the beach first to see the setup then I went over to Maya's and Carina's to drop J off. After dropping him off, I went to the flower shop, then I went to the store to pick up my gift. It was a small flame pendent on a simple silver necklace engraved with

A few days ago I dropped of a suit at Luke's so I can change there instead of going home. So at around 6:30 I went over to his home.
*knock knock knock*
"Hey Robert." Vic said opening their front door
"Hey Vic..."
"Oh happy anniversary." She laughed
"Thanks." I chuckled
"Come in, come in you have to get ready." She said excitedly
I took a shower, then I changed into my suit. I made sure to take my watch from home to wear. Andy knows me so well. I don't wear jewelry other than my wedding ring and a watch. The watch is all black with her vows to me engraved into the watch face. I don't know how she got someone to do that but it amazing. Once I finished got ready it was around 7:15 so it was time to go pick her up.
Andy's POV

*knock knock knock*
"Wow you look amazing." My handsome husband said as I opened the door
"Thank you, you look really handsome also." I smiled
"Here you go..." he said revealing the bouquet of flowers behind his back.
"They're beautiful, thank you."
"Your welcome... come on let's go." He said raising his hand so I can take it.
At the beach
"I need you to close your eyes... and promise not to open it until I tell you okay." He said close to my lips
"Okay husband."
"Good, close your eyes."
I closed my eyes and within seconds I felt his arm under my legs lifting me up
"Robert." I gasped gripping his strong shoulders
"Don't worry, I have you." He laughed
After about a minute I felt him resting me gently on the soft ground, feeling like sand.
"Open you eyes love." He whispered
I opened my eyes to see, a table set up with candles and pictures of us surrounding it under the stars...
"Wow Robert..." I said tearing up
"I love you..." he smiled wrapping his arm around my waist
"I love you." I said still shocked
"Let me take off your heels, it will be difficult for you to walk on the sand..."
"Thank you." I said smiling
He knelt down and began unbuckling my heels. Once he finished he took my hand and began guiding me to the table. He pulled out my chair and then slightly pushed it back in, he then took his seat in front of me. He took my hand in both of his and began caressing it
"Andrea, I fall more in love with you everyday, you never cease to amaze me... not only as a wife but as a mother and a firefighter. I know I may falter as a husband and father sometimes but you are our family's balance, without you neither James or I can survive. You make me so happy, you changed me for the better. If you told me 8 years ago that I would be here at this exact moment, I would have told you no way. All I'm saying is I love you, I love you more than anything and I can't see my life without you and I don't want too ever..." he said tearing up
"Robert..." I said tearing up
"Honey, you are the best thing that happened to me, before you I was lost but as soon as I met you... I knew where I wanted to be and what I wanted to be. I needed to be in your arms every night, you made want to become a wife and a mother. I have been so happy for the past 8 years, we were made for each other. I love you..." I said smiling softly
He raised my hand to his lips and kissed it
"Come on let's eat...
After the meal
"Can I have this dance?" He asked standing beside me with his hand out
"Always..." I said getting up from my chair and taking his hand
We danced under the stars, taking in each other scent and embrace. Every time we dance together I fall more and more in love with my husband. The way our body moves in perfect sync with each other drives me crazy and happy.
After dancing for a few minutes, we pulled away slightly...
"I have one more thing for you." He said
"Here you go..." he smiled pulling a jewelry box from his suit.
"Baby." I said taking in the necklace
"I love it Amore mio..." I said
"And I love you wifey. And as much as I love being here I would really like to get you home..." he said with a smirk
"Well let's get home." I grinned
