Robert's POV
"Andy..." I mumbled as I began waking up. I turned and spread my arm to her side of the bed expecting her to be there but she wasn't and she wasn't in our bedroom. So I quickly got up, brushed my teeth, put on a sweatpants and made my way out of our bedroom. As I was walking through the hallway close to the stairs I was hit with the smell of bacon and the sound of a cartoon on the tv
"Good morning." I said happily in between the kitchen where Andy was and the living room where James was.
"Dada!" James shouted running up the me and hugging my leg
"Hey buddy..." I laughed while picking him up and positioning him on my hip
"Did you sleep good?" I asked playing with his curls
"Yes!" He said while trying very hard to do a thumb's up
"Good job." I chuckled while putting my hand out for him to give me a high five which he immediately did. I put him back down on the floor, where he ran back to the couch
"Good morning beautiful..." I mumbled in her ear as I wrapped my arms around her waist
"Good morning..." she blushed
"You wore me out..." I laughed, passing my hand all over her body
"Stop it... James is right there..." she chuckled
"This is how he was made you know?" I said into her ear while caressing her skin
"Very funny." She laughed
"Come on let's eat..." she chuckled before slapping my abs playfully and walking to the dining table
"Come on J time to eat." I said walking behind her
After breakfast
"What do you want for your birthday babe?" I asked while I sat on the couch looking at her playing with James on the rug in front of me
"I don't know." She smiled
"You're so beautiful you know that right?" I said looking at her bright smile, her glowing skin and the most amazing eyes
"Thank you love..." she blushed before turning back to James
In a few days is Andy's birthday and I really want to do something special for her. All the years she hid our relationship she did not have a party or a gathering with anyone from the station for her birthday. I am thinking this year I invite everyone over, maybe grill some steaks, play some music, drink some bears. Just a chill Andy styled party. As much as I don't feel comfortable to free myself up in front of the others... I know it will make my wife so happy to be surrounded by people who love her and who she loves.
