Robert's POV
"Andy..." I mumbled as I woke up, while putting out my hand hoping she was next to me to take it
"I'm right here." She immediately took my hand "You're okay." She caressed it
"Hi beautiful..." I smirked
"You just got out of surgery and you're already talking smooth?" She chuckled
I let out a soft laugh "Ah." The pain struck me as my body shook with the laughter.
"Don't laugh babe." She said while putting her hand on my abs
"Where's J?" I asked looking around for my bestfriend
"He's in the day care upstairs playing with some kids, I'll go get him just now..." She said sitting on the bed and bring our hands on her lap
"Okay..." I gazed into her eyes.
"What's wrong babe? The surgery worked..." I asked noticing something is off
"You coded twice in the O.R..." She frowned
"What?..."
"Dr Shepherd had difficulties applying the graft and it took longer than expected. The amount of time you were under caused you to code... twice..."
"Oh..." I said not knowing what to say
"It's okay love, I'm right here." I said trying my best to comfort her
"I know... it's just... it's hard hearing your husband coded you know. We always tell people that but I never really knew how it felt until today..."
"I know..." I caressed her thigh
"But the surgery worked... you're a new man." She smiled
"I am, I am" I flexed my arm muscles
"The Ripley's and Maya came but they had to leave because there was a fire... Lili asked for Uncle Bobby." She said
"Awww I'll call her later."
"Are the twins okay?" I caressed her bump
"Yeahhh they were really active but since they sensed that their dada was okay they settled down..."
"That's my babies." I chuckled
"I'm gonna go get James..." She said standing up
"Okay." I smiled as she walked out
I then decided to call Luke hoping he's not on the call still

"Missed you too." He laughed before slapping my hand "Did the doctor fix your leg daddy?" He asked
"Yeah she did. I'm all good."

"When I recover we can finally use the goal in the backyard and practice your penalty shot." I smiled
"Yes!" He said excitedly
"Did you take care of mommy while I was gone?"
"Ummm... I was napping..." he said shyly
"You were napping? So who took care of mama?" I asked pretending to be shocked
"The babies." He pointed at Andy's bump
"Really?" I chuckled
"J didn't you help Uncle Luke bring me food?" Andy chuckled
"Yes dada I bought mommy food."
"Okay son." I chuckled while I played with his light curls
"All the Sullivan's together and smiling... just as I like it." Dr Shepherd said walking it
"Yeah." I chuckled
"How are you Robert? How's the pain on a scale of one through 10?" She asked while checking my incision
"Right now... 6..."
"Okay that's good, if you need more morphine, just press this button..."
"Okay."
"Everything looks to be healing properly so far, no sign of infection... if all goes well we'll have you out by tomorrow." She smiled
"Great... Thank you Dr Shepherd." I shook her hand
"Your welcome, it was a pleasure meeting you guys." She began to exit
"Thank you. And you also" Andy smiled
"Bye Sullivan's..." She exited
