~Third Person~

The giddy laughter of a child rang out as Kuroyuri's grey-blue sky gave way to a bright and sunny one before the cheering of numerous people, numerous game buzzers going off and screams of joy rang out. A small boy, no more than six would be seen running through a crowd before climbing up some steps. Being at the entrance of a waterslide, it was the largest one that every one seemed to avoid due to how big it was yet, the boy giddily climbed in and rode the slide down. The numerous bends and turns would make any person sick to their stomach but to young (Y/N)? The thought was the last thing he kept in the back of his mind. The first? Was his father who looked much like an older version of himself. Waiting at the end of the large tube before catching him with a twirl as the two laughed happily. (Y/N)'s mother standing nearby with warm smile.

...

A smile that soon faded to show her frown as the clear blue sky was grey and snow was falling upon her face. One that was covered by a black veil as she wore a blackened dress with a ten year old (Y/N) standing next to her with a saddened frown and a black tuxedo. Around them were friends and family, all in black as several military men with service rifles, Hemloks, stood behind a casket. One that was marked with (Y/N) (L/N) Senior. Yet, as the Funeral Conductor carried on reading a prayer? His mother turned to young (Y/N) with a faint smile.

"Aviator? Your father...was a difficult man to marry at the beginning. Between his service to the IMC and his obvious obsession with being able to 'adapt?' He seemed like a monster to some...Yet, no matter what anybody says? Your father was a good man...one I loved so very much..."

With those words, the Funeral Conductor waved a hand to the IMC Soldiers clad in uniforms. Allowing them to raise their weapons into the air and commit to a Three-Volley Salute. With the funeral now over? Everybody was gone and the casket was now replaced with freshly pact dirt as well as a gravestone. Miranda could only smile softly at the gravestone yet, it was more saddened than anything as (Y/N) seemed distraught. He had something he wanted to say...So he spoke. Giving his mother's sleeve a tug as she soon looked down at him with a small curious hum.

"Daddy...Daddy may have been a bad guy like you said but, he always told me it was so he could protect me and you! Especially you because he loved you but, not as much as me."

This would cause the two to giggle before (Y/N) knelt down and placed his father's Data-Knife into the dirt with a small stab.

"But...I also think he may have...lost himself a bit trying to protect us..."

...

One again, the dark atmosphere would give way to a sunny one as was overlaid by numerous adults and children speaking. In the crowd, (Y/N) father, a then human Haytham, and (Y/N) himself would stare into an alligator lagoon as the numerous gators bellowed at anyone getting too close. Despite numerous people jumping from the sudden scares and laughing it off? The two (L/N)s seemed intrigued. (Y/N) wasn't afraid for he was in his father's arms and his father wasn't scared because he knew these gators were no true harm unless tread upon. Suddenly, a large gator walked up onto the edge of the creek near the two as Haytham gained a mischievous smirk. Taking an deep breath, he mimicked the bellowing of a gator that caused the larger one to suddenly turn sand head into the water as (Y/N) couldn't help but laugh.

"Dad! You scared it!"

"It just got too close to us, Aviator. I can't NOT protect you and mommy if I just sit back and watch! Besides, gators adapted to bellow to ward off predators and other gators from their territory. Not to mention, adaption has allowed them to stay alive for so long."

"Uh...dab...shun...Adaption...Hahah! That's a funny word!"

(Y/N) couldn't help but laugh softly as his father followed soon after with a giggle as he shook his head yet, in a none aggressive way.
