Azriella De'Bardi POV
"Yes, thank you" I said.
"I have a question about what you cook and who taught you to cook" I asked him admiringly. He smiled again.
"My mother taught me to cook. I'm not mother's son, but I loved watching her cook."
"I make gnocchi in tomato sauce. It's my favorite dish my mom ever made," he said while preparing the dish.
I laughed at that when he said he wasn't mom's son.
"So you're Daddy's son" I said smiling.
He looked at me and rolled his eyes
"I love them both but I spent more time with Dad because of the mafia" I nodded understandably. We are currently eating and I really like this and I have to admit that he cooks well.
"You cook perfectly, I can tell you even better than me" I said with a smile.
He just smiled at that
"because my mom taught me" he said.Reign D'Angelo POV
We sit in silence as we eat and I can see that Azriella wants to say something but changes her mind.
"My mother died when I was sixteen exactly four years ago. She died because of my father's enemy, and I happened to be there by accident-"
she started talking but she was hesitant to say.
"You don't have to talk if you can't" I said but she just shook her head and continued.
