"he used it on himself?" lily giggled.

"yeah, and when he drank it, he started talking about going to hagrids, so hermione and i let him go, but he hasn't came back yet, i don't think."

"you think so? it's already late," she said worriedly, starting to get up, making ron groan as he was extremely comfortable.

"i'm sure he's fine, i mean it's harry."

"yeah, harry high off liquid luck. seriously ron?"

"hermione's got him, please just stay here with me," he whined.

"i wasn't gonna leave without you," she giggled, sitting back down on the step and wrapping her arms around him from behind.

"lily?"

"hmm?" she hummed, dropping her head next to his.

"you're spending summer holiday with me, right?"

"i don't know. i don't want to intrude, your mothers been through a lot-"

"and you've helped so much. the house is almost rebuilt, thanks to you."

"it isn't thanks to me," she whispered.

"regardless i won't be able to live if i'm not with you, if i can't keep you safe."

"we can stay in contact.."

"and risk him intercepting us? no way. i cannot ask that of you, i won't risk losing you. come with me?"

"will your mum even let me stay, now that we're together," she asked realistically.

"or maybe we just won't tell her. she's never questioned it be before."

"but now a days you can't keep your hands off me," she teased, making him blush.

"just enjoying your presence. it's been a rough year," he sighed, taking in her sent of flowers.

"i'm enjoying it too," she smiled, giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek and hugging him tightly.

"school ends in two days, you're going to come home with me, and you're going to be my date to bills wedding."

"okay," she giggled. he turned around and pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist so she wouldn't fall and holding her close.

"i won't let anything happen to you," he promised between kisses.

"i know," she smiled sweetly, kissing him back. he chuckled and hugged her again.
