As the door opened everyone cheered and clapped for Gabriel as Chuck push him on in his wheelchair, he was okay but Maggie ordered bedrest for the next 48 hours.
"You are a hero, Gabriel." Pearl yelled out so he could hear.
"I'm no hero," Gabriel simply said back with a smile,
"That's exactly what one would say." Joe said as he clapped everyone was happy to know Gabriel was on the mend.I thanked Chuck for pushing Gabriel all the way home for me because there was no way I could do it, I turned around to see Gabriel smiling as he was talking to his son.
"You're father gave me a scare, Timothy, but I'm so blessed that he's okay." I said kneeling down besides Gabriel who was still in his wheelchair he looked up and our meet and I instantly got butterflies just like I did when we first met.
"I love you." Gabriel smiled still looking in my eyes, "I love you too." I smiled before I kissed him. "You, sir, need to get in bed." I said as I took Timothy from his arms and he carefully got up and walked right to the bedroom.
The house was quiet everyone was taking a nap so that left me a good opportunity to get some work done for the school year. I had some ideas I think the kids would love to learn about like, doing a tree unit and weather unit. I got so involved in my work I didn't even notice the man standing in front of myself "Gabriel Kinslow! You need to be laying down." I said putting my pen down to assist with in any way I can.
"I know I just needed some water and I didn't want to yell and wake up Timothy." He said taking a step over to the kitchen table to sit down while I quickly got him a glass of water.
"Here you go." I smiled handing it to him before returning to my sit. "What are you working on?" Gabriel asked setting the cup down. "School lessons. I'm thinking about doing a tree unit... maybe take the kids out for a walk and see what they can identify and what they would like to learn about them." I said with a smile before I had another thought so I quickly wrote it down.
Gabriel smile as I looked up and smiled. "What?" I asked him confused why he was looking at me like he was. "You are an amazing teacher these children are lucky to have such a great woman who care about them." Gabriel said which made me smile... "You got me blushing Constable." I smiled at his comment. "You should come lay down with me for a bit." Gabriel said as he finished his water... "You know I could use a break so why not." I smiled getting up and walking over to help Gabriel up and we made our way to the bedroom. Timothy was still sleeping which was good he was a tired boy, I climb in bed and immediately being pulled close my the man I love I couldn't help but smile before I laid down and took a small nap.
