We arrived in Hamilton bright and early. We were all tired from not being able to sleep on the train ride in. "Did grandpa send a car for us?" I asked my mother. "He said he would." She smiled looking for a car for us. "It's that Leo?!" I asked my mom exited, Leo was my best friend from Hamilton we played together all the time when I was here for the summer, I haven't seen him in about almost two years.
"It is!" She answer. I dropped my bags and ran over to him, as he caught me in a hug. "Adeline it's so good to see you!" He smiled, "Same here! We have a lot of catching up to do!" I said as we walked back over to mother and Gabriel. "It's good to see you, Leo!" Mother said hugging him, "You too, Miss Thornton." He said coming out of their hug, "Leo, I would like you to met constable Kinslow." I smiled, "It's good to met you." Gabriel said saking his hand, "You too." Leo smiled, "Well shall we get going." Leo said showing us the way to the car.
It wasn't too long before we came to the big entere for the house. Leo packed the car out front for us to get off easily. It was my mom, me and Gabriel. Leo jumped off to help us off, "Thank you." I smiled as he help me off. "Well I'll go pack the car." Leo said jumping back on the car. We walked in and I saw grandpa and my aunt and uncle. "Aunt Julie! Uncle Tom!" I said running over to them. "How my favorite niece?!" She said hugging me, "I'm good!" I smiled, "Hi Uncle Tom" I smiled hugging him. "Hi grandpa!" I said walking over to him, "Hi my beautiful granddaughter!" He said hugging me, "how are you feeling?" I asked him, "better now that your here." He smiled, "Grandpa, I want you to met someone very special to me." I said and I waved to Gabriel to come over, "Grandpa, this is Constable Kinslow. He's a very special person to me." I smiled looking up at him, he smiled back at me. "Nice to met you, sir." Gabriel said, "You too." Grandpa smiled.
We quickly settled in and caught up with everyone it's been way too long since I've been back. That night quickly came and I was ready for bed after an exhausting day of traveling, I said my goodnights and headed to my room. It didn't take me long to fall asleep that night.
