(Billie and her brother take the stage shortly after I'm done. They're about to start, when Billie signals the band to wait. The crowd falls silent.)

"Sorry for keeping you all waiting to hear me sing, but I've got an important announcement to make. I'm in love with the most wonderful man, who happens to be our new manager/producer. We were married earlier today, and we can't wait to raise our baby together. We discovered the previous D.N.A. tests were done wrong. New tests were done earlier today confirming him as my baby's father. So, everyone...I'd like you to meet my husband.... James Andrew Madison."

(Billie's husband walks out from backstage as all the females ooooo and ahhh and whistle and cheer for him. Him and Billie join hands as they wave to the fans. I look at Billie's parents standing backstage. They both have a look of shock and disbelief on their faces. The look on Finneas's face as he stands behind his keyboard was one of shock, but also anger. I had a good guess as to what he was thinking. How could Billie claim him as the baby's father and their producer?)

(Later, near the end of the show, it's time for Billie and me to do our song Stay Awhile together. I grab an acoustic guitar and get ready to join Billie on stage.)

"That won't be necessary."

(I turn around, to face Billie's manager/boyfriend.)

"What do you mean...not necessary?"

"My wife and I are going to do the song together, as our way of proclaiming our undying love for one another."

(Chuckles)"Let me get this straight. You're going to waltz onto that stage, and sing my song with Billie? Like hell you are, it's my song. I helped write it."

"Incorrect. Billie wrote the song, not you. You have no proof that you wrote it."

"Proof? I have the notes and lyrics written down in my notebook."

(Billie's husband smiles. He reaches into his suit pocket and pulls out a baggie of shredded paper. He drops it at my feet.)"What notebook?"

"You son-of-a-bitch." I growl.

(He narrows his eyes at me.)

"I know what you are, little Guardian. You cannot stop the inevitable. We shall control everything. It is useless for you to fight against us. You shall either join us...or die."

"Then I'll see you in Hell." I reply.

(Billie's husband walks on stage to do the song Stay Awhile with Billie.)

(Claudia and Finneas walk up to me.)

"What the hell? Isn't that yours and Billie's song?" Claudia asks.

"It was. That son-of-a-bitch stole it...with Billie's blessings...obviously."

"I don't know what's gotten into Billie, but my parents and I are going to find out." Finneas replies.

(Months go by, as the tour continues. Billie continues getting more involved with their new manager. She gives him my side of the bed we were supposed to share together. I catch Billie alone one morning.)

"Hi."

"Hi." (She mumbles.)

"Congratulations on your marriage."

"You didn't want to marry me. You said you wanted to bang Claudia again. So, go fuck her, I don't care anymore!"

(She goes to walk away, but I grab her elbow.)

"Billie. I never said I no longer cared about you."

"You are a lying bastard! You said you only used me for a piece of ass! How do you think that made me feel? You've pushed me away for the last time!"
