The Final Countdown

(Months go by. Governments around the world were trying to pass sweeping legislation to help crackdown on the numerous protests and demonstrations all over the globe. The rich were getting richer. There were only two classes now, the rich and the poor, or the have and have nots, as the rich referred to them. People were dissatisfied with their governments and their elected officials. People were demanding things to change. Little did anyone know that the changes had already been put into place a year ago. Only a handful of people noticed the changes, those who weren't asleep. Billie's family continue trying to reach out to her, to get some kind of explanation from her as to why she was acting the way she was, but to no avail. The 3-story mansion her and her husband lived in now was surrounded by a high wall, and a lot of armed guards. The only family member to see her was Finneas, and that was only to record music together, which was closely monitored by Billie's husband or his goons. Billie's post on social media wasn't about herself anymore. Every post was nothing but praise for her husband, and the work he was doing to help transform the government into a group of leaders that worked to make the world a better place for everyone. If only she knew the true price that was going to be expected.)

(David continues staying at Valerie's guest house. He trained...he pushed himself harder and harder everyday...because he knew what was coming...or so he thought.)

(A few weeks later, the government of the United States collapses due to financial bankruptcy. Banks in the United States and in parts of the world were ordered to close immediately. This severely affected the poorer class, who couldn't withdraw their money to buy or pay for anything, but not the rich. They had an endless supply of new income now, the money the poorer class had in the bank. Riots and looting erupt in all 50 states. Emergency meetings were held to find a solution to the problem, but no one had any ideas how to quickly fix a broken system. Then...the three richest businessmen in the world stepped forward with a plan. To fix the problem they claimed, people had to realize that the government wasn't the problem. The people themselves were the problem, those that depended on the government to take care of them. So, in order to fix the problem, those people had to be eliminated from the system. This news led to even more violent protests, but the government declared they would let the people vote on it. Rallying marches were held in every state. There were those for the idea, but the vast majority was against it. Billie posted on social media her full support for the idea, and more praise for her husband. Billie's parents, along with Finneas and Claudia...were among those totally against it. They marched in one protest, voicing their opposition to the idea. That night, while taking out the trash, Patrick is attacked from behind and brutally kicked into unconsciousness. At the hospital sometime later, Finneas growls in frustration as the police tell him, that since no one saw who attacked him, no charges could be pressed. They try to reach out to Billie but get no reply. Hours later, Billie's husband shows up at the hospital. Claudia and some security had to physically hold Finneas back.)
