"You were warned, do not fight against what is coming. This is your second warning. Do not test my patience with a third attempt."
"You bastard! (Finneas growls.)
(Billie's husband smiles. Then he removes his white gloves, and slaps Finneas across his mouth.)
"Watch your tongue with me, or else your girlfriend here will be sucking my cock by nightfall."
"Like hell I will. You'll have to force me first!"
(Billie's husband smiles even more.)"That can easily be arranged. My wife's best friend Zoe has already succumbed to my will. You shall too...soon."
(He leaves. Maggie comes out about a half hour later, to tell them that the doctor expected Patrick to make a full recovery overtime. Finneas and Claudia tell her what transpired between them and Billie's husband.)
"That monster! I can't believe Billie would rush into marriage with someone like that."
"I'm surprised she's not here, Mom. It's like she doesn't care anymore."
"Have you been able to speak with her? Find out why she's acting this way?"
"No, Mom. Only time we spend together is when we're recording music, and her husband and his brutes listen in on everything we say. All Billie keeps saying is how madly she's in love with him. The guy of her dreams. He claims to have seduced Zoe as well."
"Not sweet innocent Zoe! I just can't picture Billie being okay with this, I simply can't!"
"Neither can we, Mom. What do you think we should do?"
"First...we get your father home, then we stand together with our friends against this damn purge they're talking about. Killing is not the answer!"
(They go to leave the hospital, suddenly an ambulance comes rushing in. The paramedics quickly get the gurney out of the back, Claudia recognizes the person on the gurney...David. She stops Valerie Bertinelli who is following close behind.)
"Oh my God! What happened?"
"He was out jogging, and someone shot him in the chest with a shotgun from a car driving by. He's in pretty bad shape."
(Valerie dashes off into the hospital. Claudia stands there stunned. A short time later, Billie's husband returns home to an anxious Billie.)
"How is he? How's my Dad?"
"He is fine, my love. He has gone home to rest. I am personally over-seeing the investigation into who could have done such a terrible thing!"
"Maybe I should go over to the house, see how he is?"
"No, Billie. The doctor has ordered him to rest. Besides, you need to be working on new songs that praise the accomplishments of our wonderful new forefathers. All hail the new founding fathers!"
"All hail the new founding fathers. May the future they bring us be bright." (Billie says robot like.)
(Later that night, David passes away. A funeral surface is held for him days later. Billie's parents along with Finneas and Claudia attend the close casket viewing and funeral. Valerie is thoroughly shaken by David's death, as is Claudia. At the funeral, Maggie whispers to Finneas.)
"Didn't you tell Billie about David's death?"
"Yes, Mom. She promised to be here."
(A short time later, Billie arrives at the funeral in a stretch limo, followed by t.v. news vans. She gets out of the Rolls Royce, dressed like Marilyn Monroe, as photographers snap pictures.)

(She walks past everyone, including her own family without acknowledging them. She stops at the casket, then turns and poses as she blows a kiss to the photographers who snap numerous pictures. She walks back toward the stretch limo, as a group of 6 scantily clad muscle men, lift her high upon their shoulders and carry her back to the limo where her husband is waiting. She blows more kisses to the photographers, then they leave. Billie's family is awe struck; Claudia is practically shaking with rage.)
"Who...what...was that?" Maggie asks.
"That was our daughter, Maggie. Or whatever the hell is left of her."(Patrick says firmly.)
