(The next day, Billie talks to the detectives as I sit in a chair nearby. I had to admit to myself, I wasn't surprised when I learned Bilie had been drugged. She kept glancing at me while talking to the detectives, and I did my best to give her a reassuring look, but it was difficult to hear her describe the details of her ordeal, and to see her cry. I made a quiet promise to myself to come up with a way to punish the fuckers personally. After the detectives leave, I sit on her hospital bed, and hold her close as she cries.)

"Shhhhh

"Shhhhh...that parts over now, Billie. Now we move on to the next part."

"What is the next part, David? I hold a press conference and tell the world I was raped? I tell them I'm pregnant, but I don't know who the baby's father is? I tell them that I'm in love with you, but you're leaving for reasons that you can't tell me? Each part is as bad as the other, but the last part is the worst!"

(There was something about a beautiful woman with blue eyes and tears. Like kryptonite to Superman.)

"I'm not leaving you, Billie."

"But...you said you had something important to take care of...and that you had to leave?"

"I'm supposed to leave...yea...but I'll stay as long as I can for you."

"Does this mean you've decided to claim parental custody of the baby?"

"Thought we were going to get some tests done first?"

"Oh...so now you're saying that you'll stay, but only if the results show you're the baby's biological father?"

"Hey...now I didn't say that, Billie."

"Marry me."

"What?"

"I think we should get married."

"Wait a minute. It hasn't even been announced that we're officially dating. So... we're supposed to go from professional friends to marriage, and a baby on the way? What will we tell the media?"

"A whirlwind romance? Love at first sight?"

"More like wham, bam...thank you ma'am."

"Huh?"

"Never mind. It's an old saying."

"Let me put it this way. If we get married...you get to fuck me every night...and as an added bonus..." (She wraps her arms around my neck, as we kiss, and our tongues explore one another's mouths. Finally, after a full minute she releases me. I had to catch my breath, as she giggles.)

"You like that?"

"Definitely blew my mind...and you're saying I'll get this every night?"

"Once we're married...yes. So, what's your answer? Yes, or no?

(I slide off her bed and turn to face her.)

"Actually...I got a question first."

"What's that?"

"I didn't get to fuck you every night when we did the tour together, because you were too busy kissing and cuddling with your brother. So, what difference will getting married make? Or are you just doing this, so I'll agree to father the kid, and the truth doesn't come out that it isn't mine?"

(She jumps off her bed, and stands in front of me, with her arms crossed.)

"I'm asking you to marry me, because I love you...but if you don't believe that. Then why are you here?"

"I do believe that, Billie. I'm asking you...is that your only reason for asking me to marry you?"
