(He leaves. Billie's parents are shocked. Finneas calls Claudia and tells her everything. Claudia goes over to Valerie's house to talk to David.)

"So, it's begun."

"You're taking this a lot calmer than I expected you too. Do you know something I don't know?"

"Yes...but this is something I need to handle. Not you or her family. Just play along for now. I'm asking you to trust me."

"Are you planning to go talk to Billie yourself?"

"No. She's chosen her path. I can't help her. Not yet."

"Do you love her?"

"Yea, but I care about you as well Claudia."

"But you can't have both of us."

"I know, but Finneas and his family are going to need you."

"Damn it. You said Finneas would need my guidance. Guidance for what? All I know is Billie's panties are on fire because of this guy, and she's doing shit that doesn't make sense!"

"Be there for him and his family. Talk to him, keep him out of trouble."

"Trouble with who?"

"Billie's husband. Finneas is very protective of Billie; you've said that yourself. He can't take on these assholes himself. Though I think he's gonna try. You need to talk him out of it. Keep him grounded."

"Are you saying you're gonna deal with Billie's husband?"

"I don't know yet. That's the truth, Claudia...I don't know...but I need you to promise me. You won't ever fuck with any guy besides me or Finneas."

"David!"(Claudia blushes.)

"I'm serious about this, Claudia. Don't fuck with Billie's husband."

"He's...her husband. I wouldn't do that to Billie."

"Are you saying you haven't thought about it?"

(Claudia smiles.)"Well...he is as sexy as fuck."

"I'm serious, Claudia."

"What did you mean, when you said about a wolf in sheep's clothing? Have you meant this guy before?"

"No. Never...let's just say I see him for what he really is."

"He has Billie wrapped around his little finger. Her mother's heart-broken."

"Starting to show his true colors already? He's cockier and more arrogant than I thought."

"David? We need to talk about us. This idea.... of having a baby together."

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. Like I said...Finneas is going to need you."

"And I still love him as well...but...I don't think we'll ever put what him and Billie did behind us."

"No. I guess it'll always bother me as well."

"So, what happens between us now?"

"I don't know. The real question we need to ask ourselves is...who are we choosing to be with?"

"Are you planning to go back to Billie? If she should become available again?"

"That's a tough question. I mean...according to that gypsy woman, we were destined to be together...and now she's married to someone else?"

"Well...you did keep pushing her away, David."

"I had to Claudia."

"What do you mean...had too?"

"There's...a lot of other assholes in the world now like the one Billie's married too. Some may be worse than him. I don't know... but I can't protect Billie...and others...and concentrate on fighting these assholes too. I... don't want to see anyone get hurt...because of me."

"Including me?"

"Including you."

"Then I guess you better kiss me while you can."

(Claudia and I kiss.)

(Sometime later, we're sitting in a bathtub together, holding one another tight. I look at her and smile.)

"What are smiling about?" She asks.

"Your eyes, one time they seem green, another time they seem brown...kind of cool yet mysterious."

"Do you really think I can be strong enough to be there for Finneas and his family?"

"I think you can do whatever you put your mind too. You're an incredible woman. Finneas is lucky to have you."

(She smiles.)"You're only saying that because I have a nice ass."

"We'll always have our shower game together."

(She smiles, then her expression turns serious.)

"So... this is it huh? Our last time together?"

"You need to be there for Finneas, and his family."

"But what about you?"
