(She yanks her arm out of my grasp and begins walking away. I struggled with the urge to hold her close and protect her, but I knew I had to let her go.)

"Billie?"

"What!?"

(I walk up to her, and gently brush her cheek with my fingers.)

"Don't. Don't you dare try to kiss me."

"I'm gonna miss you." I reply.

"Fuck off."

(We lock eyes. Billie eyes widen in surprise, as she sees tears in David's eyes.)

"If you say so."(I turn and walk away. Billie stands there with her mouth hanging open in surprise. She knew David to be stubborn, hard-headed and even sarcastic at times.... but there was something off about him. Like a deep sadness in his eyes. She was tempted to ask him about it, but...no... she was as rich as fuck...married and happily in love. Nothing else mattered.)

(Meanwhile...Governments around the world were taking control of everything they could. Properties...Personal belongings...Numerous companies...Media outlets...Newspapers...Television...Schools ...Clothing stores. People were basically told how to think and act and what to eat and wear. Putting all of this into place was a huge burden on taxpayers of course, governments around the world were going further and further into financial debt. Little did anyone know...this was only the beginning.)

(The tour ends, which turns out to be a huge sucess for Billie. Her parents and Finneas arrive home. They arrive just in time to see a large removal truck leave their property.)

"What's a removal truck doing on your property?" Finneas asks.

"I don't know, but we're going to find out." Patrick replies.

(They go into the house, to find Billie and her husband standing in the living room. Surrounded by muscular bodyguards.)

"Welcome home. Billie and I decided it would be best to at least say goodbye before we leave."

"Leave? Billie just got back from doing a 6-month world tour. Where are you going?"(Maggie asks.)

"I'm moving out now, Mom. I'm going to live with my husband."

"Like hell you are."(Patrick says.)"First you get married without telling any of us. Then you sign papers with this guy naming him your new manager/producer. Which to us is a deliberate slap in the face...and now you're moving in together? You're not leaving this house until we get some answers, Billie."

"You are in-correct, sir. It is no longer your house."(Billie's husband says.)

(Billie's father was trying hard to keep his temper under control.)

"Just what the hell do you mean by that?"

"I now own the bank, which you owe for this house. I shall allow you to stay here, out of respect for my wife, for double the usual payments you were paying before. If you wish to visit her, please check with me first."

"D... DOUBLE THE USUAL PAYMENTS!?"(Finneas stammers.)

"Yes. Please be advised that as long as you keep up your end of the arrangement. I shall do everything I can to protect you from the upcoming Purge. Have a good day. Come along, Billie."

"Yes, husband."(Billie answers like a zombie. She grabs her last bags and walks out the door without a goodbye.)

"Purge? What Purge?" (Patrick asks.)

(Billie's husband turns to face Billie's family with a smile on his face. A smile that sent chills down their spines.)

"The Purge is coming. Whether people want it or not. You shall remain safe, as long as Billie does as she's told...and you do not interfere. Goodbye."
