(Three Year Time Jump)

Jon was hard at work filling out paperwork, he was still supposed to be an intern, but he was made personal assistant to Doctor Stone due to great work. He loved his job but he also hated it because he had to stay later then he wanted too at times and today was one of those days.
"Jonathan, I am sorry about keeping you late, but this seminar I need to get to but you can have an extra two days off next week" Silas stated
"Thanks Doctor Stone, I'll get this done and leave it in your desk" Jon replied
"This is this last time I'll ask you to stay late for a while" Silas said leaving
Jon sighed leaning back into his chair he took his phone out of his pocket and dialled Damian's number
"Let me guess, you're staying late and need me to get your son from daycare" Damian stated seriously picking up
"Yeah, I'm sorry" Jon sighed
"I know and I wasn't being serious, I know you like the job and don't worry, I was already on my way to get Jackson" Damian replied
"Have I ever said how you're the best" Jon stated
"You could say it more often" Damian said obviously smirking
"Take that smirk off your face" Jon said
"tt, fine" Damian sighed
"Okay I love you and I'll see you later" Jon said
"Love you too, and don't work too hard you still have rooms to paint when you get home" Damian stated
"I have rooms to paint" Jon questioned
"Yeah you do, remember you lost the bet" Damian stated
"Okay by, Dami" Jon said
"Bye Beloved" Damian stated hanging up
Jon got up from his desk and headed to the canteen where he made a cup of coffee and grabbed a snack before heading back to his office space. While he did that back in Metropolis Damian was pulling up to Jackson's daycare, he got out of the car and headed inside.
"Hey Rose" Damian greeted
"Let me guess he's working late" Rose laughed
"How did you know" Damian replied
"Second nature at this point" Rose replied
"How was Jackson today" Damian asked
"As per usual completely perfect, but I'd say he's happy to be going home" Rose stated
"Damian!" Jackson exclaimed after seeing Damian with Rose
"Hey there buddy, lets get you home" Damian said picking the three year old up after he ran at him
"I'll see you tomorrow little man, and I'll probably see you too" Rose stated
"See you Rose" Damian said leaving
