Jon was with Jackson finishing up his costume, while Damian and Lexi were sitting downstairs. While Lexi usually only got home on weekends she made sure to be back for holidays and special occasions such as Halloween, Jon and her always took Jackson out while Damian stayed home, he had come to not enjoy Halloween since Ra's had died so close to it.
"So, are you sure you don't want to come out with us this year?" Lexi asked
"I'm sure, plus this a family thing that you guys get to do together" Damian replied
"So what your family" Lexi stated
"I know that, but you know what I mean. Plus someone needs to be here to hand out candy" Damian replied
"Boo!" Jackson screamed sneaking up on the two
"Agghhh, wow you are a really scary vampire" Lexi replied
"I know" Jackson replied proudly
"I take it that means you're ready to go out trip or tearing" Lexi said
"Yeah I am, Abi are you coming with us this" Jackson questioned
"No I'm not, someone has to stay and give out sweets to the other kids" Damian replied
"I'll stay if you want to go" Jon said coming into the room
"You know I'd rather stay home" Damian replied
"Well then we best get going, we wouldn't want all the best candy to be taken now would we" Jon said ruffling Jackson's hair
"Yeah let's go" he exclaimed pulling on Lexi and Jon
"Fine we are going, nothing gets between you and your candy" Lexi laughed
"We'll be back in a bit" Jon said kissing Damian
"I know you will, your treat is back here not out there" Damian replied
"So it's a treat this year not a trick" Jon questioned
"That depends on how I'm feeling when you get back" Damian smirked
"Jon come on" Lexi called from the door
As soon as Jon left, Damian got up from the kitchen island and headed to the living room and took out his phone and dialled his sisters number.
"Hey Dames, to what do I owe the pleasure" Athanasia asked
"Just wanted to check up on you" Damian replied
"I'm fine, it's me who should be worrying about you" Athanasia stated
"What do you mean?" Damian asked
"You took it harder then me, and you tend to be more unstable emotionally than me" Athanasia replied
"Really I tend to be, I don't agree" Damian laughed
"Agree or disagree ask anyone and they will agree with my conclusion" Athanasia replied
"Well I'm okay, I guess. Having Jon and Jackson and even Lexi around at the moment helps me to ignore the scars" Damian stated
