I was just getting ready infront of the mirror inside of HoYeon and my closet door. Tonight, the Screen Actors Guild short "SAG" Awards will take place. HoYeon and I even flew to Los Angeles for them because she's nominated as best actress in a drama series for her performance as Sae-Byeok Kang in Squid Game. And I get to be the host of the show
I was just getting done as HoYeon entered our room in such a beautiful black dress. My eyes went past the open closet door at my girlfriend. I was speechless at first by how good she looked
"Wow HoYeon....you look absolutely beautiful" were the only words I could say in that moment
"Thank you baby. But have you looked at yourself?" she gave back with her sweet smile before she came over to me and wrapped her arms around my neck what gave me space to place my hands on her waist
I was still a bit tired from our 13 and a half hour flight from Seoul
HoYeon and I got offered a room in a very good hotel called "Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills"
"I'm so proud of you" I added as I looked at my HoYeon. "But you don't even know if I won yet...." she gave back confused. I never took my eyes off HoYeon and replied "That doesn't matter. I'm already proud of you for coming this far. And I will always be proud. No matter what happens tonight or in the future"
HoYeon smiled brightly before laying her head on my chest. As the two of us were ready, a driver was already waiting for us infront of the hotel. He opened the door of the big black mercedes van as he greeted us. "Good evening Ms. Jung, good evening Ms. Y/L/N"
It only took a 10 minute ride to get to the location
At the location, a big red carpet was already laying there and behind the barricades, thousand of photographers were waiting for the stars to arrive. As soon as HoYeon and I stepped one step out of the car the flashlight storm started. HoYeon grabbed my hand, smiled at me which I returned and walked on the red carpet with me
Inside, after at least 500'000 pictures of me and HoYeon were taken, we even met a familiar face
"Jung-Jae!" HoYeon called as she saw her fellow Squid Game co-star. Jung-Jae is also nominated for an award as best actor in a drameseries
"HoYeon! It's so nice to see you again" he replied and pulled her in for a hug
"Y/n nice to see you again too" he smiled and huged me after HoYeon. Jung-Jae and I know each other pretty well since I almost everyday visited HoYeon at the set of Squid Game
