Shobu dashed through the forest at high speeds as Lubbock and Najenda's words replayed in his mind.
Intruders, nine of them.
Kill them all.
Shobu grit his teeth at the thought, this was something new to him, he had only taken a couple of lives that he could remember, but that was just for his own survival, minus Aria.
He was going to be killing someone he's never even met before, who had no qualms with him.
"Oh, hey Shobu." Leone suddenly said, appearing next to the man as they ran along. "I got this side, I've got a job for you in the meantime." She added before he could say anything.
"Ah, right, I'm guessing I'm on door duty?" Shobu asked.
Leone smirked. "Yup."
...
Tatsumi and Shobu were currently waiting out by a couple of bushes.
"So, you got assigned here too?" Shobu asked, a grin on his face.
"Yep, downside of being a newbie." Tatsumi responded, dejected. "Besides, even if any of them manage to escape, what're the chances they'll come this way?" He asked.
"Apparently one hundred percent." Shobu responded, standing up and glaring in a direction.
Two figures suddenly darted out in front of them, and the four all saw each other at the same time.
"So they had someone stationed out here too." One of them growled, his animalistic appearance making him seem even angrier.
"I'll handle the guy on the left." Shobu announced, quickly charging at the one who clearly looked the stronger of the two.
"You may only be a boy but, I'm not about to go easy on you." The other intruder growled at Tatsumi.
Shobu tackled his opponent into a nearby tree, earning a nick at his side considering the sword he had.
The intruder gasped for air as his back hit the tree however, and he dropped his sword.
Shobu suddenly drew back, and the intruder, who had been pushing up against the smaller man, suddenly fell forward because of this.
Shobu immediately grabbed the man's neck with both hands.
"Wait! Please!" He shouted.
Shobu, cursing at himself, listened.
He was rewarded with a stab to the gut.
The intruder grinned cockily as Shobu winced, and looked down, but the grin subsided as Shobu turned his head back up to look at him, a look of pure rage shown in his eyes made the intruder piss himself.
The intruder got no second chance to beg as Shobu clutched tightly on his throat, crushing it, before throwing him to the ground.
Taking the small curved knife out of his abs, Shobu sighed out, he rather liked this shirt, even if it wasn't his.
Turning around, he realized Tatsumi wasn't there, and neither was his opponent.
"Tch." Shobu dashed off, looking for his new friend.
I swear, if I find him dead somewhere I'll fucking resurrect him then kill him again. Shobu thought angrily.
"..these sword skills!" Shobu perked up as he heard Tatsumi's shout.
He smiled as he came across Tatsumi, who, while looking a bit roughed up, and was holding his side, had his sword drawn and was pointing it down at the intruder, who was laying on his back.
