"Where is Shobu though? Even if it's only been one night, I'm starting to get anxious, there's still a lot we have to do here." Akame mumbled, rubbing her eyes as she waited for information regarding an opportunity to save Tatsumi.
"I can go get him." Leone suddenly said, earning a surprised glance from Akame.
"What!? Why didn't you say so?" She asked.
The blond shrugged. "I dunno, it just never came up, I didn't know whether you wanted him for our plans or not, since he's always out training." She explained.
"Alright well where is he?" Lubbock asked, joining the conversation.
"There's this nice clearing in a forest that he found and showed me once, a really good place to train with a small pond that goes deep underground, apparently he goes down there to practice training under increased pressure." Leone explained, standing up.
Akame stood up as well. "Lead the way." She ordered.
She got a mock salute in return. "Yes boss!"
...
Lubbock had decided to tag along as well, leaving just Mine at the base, as she was busy doing her own thing.
It was early in the morning, the sun just barely starting to rise over the horizon.
"We're almost there." Leone commented.
A little more walking, and the three walked into a large, grassy clearing of the forest, with a small pond off to the side.
Although the clearing had been tainted with the dragging marks of large boulders, stained blood, etc.
"Where is he?" Lubbock asked, noticing a duffel bag nearby, but no Shobu.
"The water." Akame mumbled, remembering what Leone had said.
"Yep."
The three walked over to the water, and looked down into it.
It was very bright, the water was crystal clear, and Shobu's form could be seen down at the bottom, maybe a good thirty metres below.
There was something down there with him, that he was punching.
Akame stripped down to her undergarments. "I'm going to go get him." She stated, jumping into the water.
Leone gave Lubbock a light slap over the head before he said anything.
In the water, Akame dove to the bottom as fast as she can, quickly grabbing onto the rocky wall to make sure she didn't float back up once she reached the bottom.
She looked on in disbelief.
He had really been training.
He had brought a large Boulder, easily twice his size, down with him, and was punching the Boulder repeatedly, his punches slower and weak.
Even Bulat wouldn't try something like this, at least not that I know of. Akame thought to herself.
He kept his feet pinned to the ground by keeping his feet wedged underneath the Boulder.
What about air?
She looked around, and noticed a small dent in a part of the wall.
She swam over, and found that there were multiple holes in the ceiling rock.
A temporary source of air, that's quickly filled with water after use.
Wow.
She swam over to Shobu, lightly tapping his shoulder.
